A very fine restaurant with an outrageous service and delicious food and wine.
I was surprised by the amount of the portions though - you won't leave hungry.
About Ambiente - for me it was a bit boring but very elegant though.
There is no extra offer for kids but if you want something simple for the little ones, you will probably get it 😉

A decent seafood restaurant in a quaint street in Rome.

Food was tasty and our Peruvian waiter was fantastic.

Sadly the maitre d was so rude he really should work collecting garbage than being front of house. Luckily this did not ruin our experience and the rest of the staff were superb.

Great ambience and very busy.

You can get just as good for cheaper but if you want to impress go here but over priced slightly for what it is

I just wrapped up three nights at the Locarno during sweltering August, and what a welcome refuge it was.

After several visits to Rome, a friend suggested I stay here, and I’m glad he did. The hotel is elegant and discreet - with a storied history and loyal clientele - evident from the moment you step inside. The room was spacious and well-appointed, strong air conditioning; being on the ground level I was initially concerned about street noise, but was happy to discover the windows are equipped with automated blackout screens that keep both light and noise out, ensuring a restful sleep. Only criticism is that my room had no individual lamps, just overhead lighting. So the options were either very bright or pitch black. From both a design and practical perspective, I would address this. (Looking at the website, it seems like this is not the case in most other rooms.)

The twice-daily housekeeping service was among the best I’ve ever witnessed, with an incomparable attention to detail. The staff at the reception attend promptly to any request and are friendly; the concierge services exceptional, with seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of the city, which restaurants are open when, and so on.

The hotel bar is handsome and offers an ideal setting for an evening cocktail. The drinks are quite expensive by continental standards (around €25 each), but that doesn’t seem to stop anyone and I suppose it didn’t stop me, either. I also would have preferred some jazz over the somewhat loud music they were playing on loop throughout my stay.

All told, my new favorite place to stay in Rome. I look forward to returning soon.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. The welcome was warm and professional from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious, clean, and very well-equipped. The staff were incredibly attentive, always ready to assist and offer great recommendations for local activities and restaurants.

The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of fresh products. The hotel’s location is perfect, just a short walk from "plazza del Papolo"

I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We will definitely be coming back!

We stayed at Hotel Locarno for three nights for our honeymoon and it was an amazing experience! The staff were very kind and helpful, the breakfast was incredible, and the room was beautiful and very clean. We loved the turndown service as well - what a nice touch. We even had dinner at the hotel one night and it was spectacular. A lot of the reviews are complaints about the food and beverage pricing, but I do not agree with them. The prices are more than reasonable for a 5-star, Michelin hotel. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Rome.  Grazie mille!

We have just returned from an impeccable stay at Hotel Locarno. Such a stunning hotel with beautiful decor and rooms. Our bedroom was magnificent and the air conditioning a god send! The staff could not have been more welcoming or accommodating to my family and I and every member truly made our stay very special. Breakfast was so enjoyable and delicious and the bar and rooftop excellent for drinks and dining. The hotel’s location was so convenient, everything was a short walk away. We can’t wait to return soon and would highly recommend.
