We had a long and relaxing evening at Circolo. Lovely service staff and delicious food. Staff did not stop running between tables between 8.30 and 11.30. Had a delicious bottle of wine, yummy starters and sides. Have to recommend the grilled lamb it was fantastic.

Excellent !

Great food, great mood and the service was impeccable. We had a pollo and a maiale as main dishes, which were the best choices ever. The potatoes and the aspargus (if you’re lucky enough to go there when it’s available) were heavenly. The wine was good and very fit our taste thanks to the waitress’ advices. We loved the music and the overall vibe was immaculate. Definitely deserves a try if you’re in Copenhagen. Will come back for sure :)

The food was good, but as others have said the plates quite small, so you will need to order appetizer, starter, main and dessert. Unfortunately for us, arrived 20:15, but order taken only 20:45, a fair few things were already sold out.

I just do not understand how they make money. We were 8, ordered 2 bottles of wine, would have ordered 3 or likely 4 if we had only been able to find a waiter. We ran out of water early on, and would have ordered more. We were all set to order dessert for everyone, but I think no exaggeration it took maybe 20 minutes and some arm waiving for any waiters to even get us menus. All the while there were staff all around, standing by the food counter talking to friends, and ignoring the guests.

I reckon our spend was maybe 2/3rds of what it would have been had we had attentive service, and likely half of what it would have been if they had tried to upsell us a bit. I know us, would not have been difficult.

Food was good but not exceptional in any way, and presented in a dull way which didn't add any fanfare. The service was excellent though. Unfortunately unacceptable noise levels, very hard to have a decent conversation.
