Beautiful place, located right in the heart of Barcelona without feeling overwhelmed by the crowds. Easy walkable everywhere and very safe. Many restaurants nearby to choose from, nice little Rooftop bar to recharge and relax after walking the busy city. Staff is excellent, Marc at the front desk goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome as was the rest of the staff, from cleaning to the breakfast crew. Very good American breakfast with lots of options, juices, fruits etc. Well worth the $24 Euros charge unless you have Elite status, then it is included with your paid stay. I had a Prestige Larger Guest Room with a king bed and a rollaway bed and didn't feel small at all, nice layout with ample bathroom space and many amenities if you are missing a toothbrush or shaving cream. Lots of mirrors, a safe, an included mini bar with daily 2 beers and 2 Pepsi. Overall a fantastic Hotel in a centralized location.

Staff were amazing. The gentleman who helped us with the luggage and hailing a taxi today was so nice. Greatest location in my humble opinion for a five star hotel. Not crowded yet safe. Convenience store right across the street.

My First time in Barcelona and I must say the stay at renaissance hotel has been unforgettable.

Reception staff were very attentive, rooms were amazing and the food there is delicious + the long island ice tea was definitely the best I've had so far!

Plenty of facilities like gym, spa and a roof top pool, roof top bar and cosy lounge.

The security were also fantastic with assisting with taxi bookings and luggage oversight for my departure!

My only critique is I would prefer if the staff asked how I like my steak as it came rarer than I would like it.

We visited this hotel with my wife for Valentine’s Day getaway and we had overall a normal experience. Firstly the location is one of the highlights as everywhere is in walking distance, secondly the breakfast is great. We really liked the service in breakfast and the staff was very friendly. However if we would talk about the check-in experience, unfortunately it wasn’t meeting the Renaissance level of service. Our room was prepared earlier however, we weren’t informed anything about the hotel, rooms and facilities. Last day we understood that the minibar was included in our stay. Additionally we explicitly had to ask where the breakfast was. We might give a second try for next one.

Stayed for 2 nights here. Great location to the key attractions. Room overall is okay, though it’s far away from luxury feeling… The breakfast is pretty awesome, comparing to other hotel I stayed in Spain. Rooftop bar is under maintenance during my staying.
