My partner and I were stopped here by the barbecue smell from the  burger van in the courtyard. We ended up enjoying some burgers and beer in this lovely pub.
There is a cold food counter in the pub too, had I known, I probably would have ordered some food from the pub too.

Great selection of beers inside with welcoming staff who knew all about it. Food was served outside with a good selection of things such as burgers available.

A huge selection of craft beers in their fridges as well as on tap. Delicious food range as well and a massive space as well as outdoor seating to top it off!

I always struggled to find lambics in my area so very happy that they have a whole fridge stocked with them! Highly recommend visiting if you love craft beer.

We’ve been coming to Beer Merchants Tavern for years, most recently on Boxing Day, when it was one of the few pubs open in the area. It’s dog-friendly and has quite a nice brewery vibe (definitely not a pub). Perfect for a pre-game pint if you’re watching West Ham, a few drinks and board games, or a cheese board with some interesting beers and German-inspired flavours. The range of beers changes quite often which is fun, with everything from stouts better than Guinness to small-batch DIPAs and sours with unique flavours. The pretzel is definitely worth trying too in combination.There’s also a big room out back if you need more space, and I’ve heard the quiz night is great, though I haven’t been myself. The only downsides are that it can get pretty busy on Saturday nights, as the area can get hectic then, and the prices are quite steep – expect over £7 a pint, though many drinks are served as 1/3 or half pints.

Very good pub near Hackney Wick Station. Two cask ales on handpump when I last visited. Lots of craft beers on tap and in bottles also available. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Busy, but not uncomfortably so, before and after Spurs trip to West Ham at the Olympic Stadium, which is only 15 minutes walk away. Quick service considering the numbers being catered for.
