This place serves some fantastic beers and ciders, I’d highly recommend the Rhubarb Cider when it’s on.

The pizzas are also tremendous however on busy days there can be a bit of a wait. The margarita and sage and truffle pizzas are outstanding!

I love Crate and have been coming here for years. The pizza is great and the drinks are really great! There are multiple alcohol-free options which is good for me, and it's super easy to make changes to your pizza choices!

Sitting along the canal is always so lovely and the buzz of conversation is so nice. However, when you get to the evening, the music is turned up so uncomfortably loud and it's really hard to enjoy yourself after that. If the weather isn't amazing, you want to be inside or under the heaters, but if you're there, you can't hear yourself think, let alone the person next to you! We've had to leave multiple times because the music was too loud! This is a pub, not a club!

Avoid! Waited half an hour for the wrong pizza, then half an hour for the right pizza which actually never arrived. Then another 10 for the greasiest, dirtiest ‘flatbread’ pizza to arrive. No apologies, nothing to make up for it. Completely incompetent and rude staff, totally mid atmosphere.
