Maty’s is amazing. We went there for a birthday dinner and had a great time. The size of the restaurant makes it easy to book but also opens it up to kids, which is a downside. There were a few crying babies around. The waiters were friendly, warm and nice. The raw and vegetable menu was our favorite. While the main menu was good, it wasn’t as punchy as the others. Huge props to the crudo, cauliflower and sweet potato dessert!

Absolut surprise, highly recommended! The Tortiras de Choclo are similar to arepitas dulces, the Bluefin Tuna is one of the best tiraditos in Miami, the Oysters are soooo goooood!!! the Corn is a must as side to any meat. The Milanesa is big, easily for 2 people and recommended, the Skirt steak was the only dish that just felt good/ok. For dessert the Picarones are fried Donuts with a honey like sauce.

Our experience at Maty’s was truly exceptional. Each dish was exquisite, with the ceviche clásico and el choclo a la huancaina standing out as our favorites. Lauren was an outstanding host, incredibly warm and welcoming, and the entire staff provided exceptional service. To top it off, the music selection was fantastic, creating an inviting atmosphere where we could savor delicious food and enjoy a great ambiance all night long.

Great if you like strong, exciting flavors & a little bit of spice!

I came here bc of the Infatuation review. Google reviews (not great) had me questioning if Maty’s paid for placement in the infatuation best list… when I sat down and looked at the menu I honestly was regretting coming here.

Was BLOWN AWAY by the flavors and the freshness of the dishes. The plates were so flavorful and exciting, it was like going back to Peru for the first time all over again.

I think menu changes a lot - but we had:
Scallop Crudo - 10/10
Ceviche - 9.5/10
Oysters - 9/10
Corn side: 10/10
Chicken Milanesa: 8/10
Bill with tax and tip was $175 for the above (no drinks)

Cons:
Pricing - some of their prices are insane for the quantity of food. Ex: Over $100 for an oxtail saltado plate???? Get real. Look at the tiny serving of ceviche you get compared to the tea light on the table.
Their online menu did not list prices either

I plan to go back! But wouldn’t bring anyone who is a picky eater.
