We had an incredible dining experience at Koka. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the warm and attentive service to the beautifully curated dishes. My wife and I had a wonderful experience here. The food was delicious and interesting, the menu meticulously curated, the presentation and plating of each dish beautiful, and the service attentive, kind, and accommodating. My wife says that the food tasted like a fresh and zesty summer day in Sweden - it felt like an artful representation of Sweden. We really enjoyed our experience here and would recommend it excitedly to anyone visiting. Of course, it is an expensive experience, but definitely worth it for epicurean foodies. Everyone who served us was very nice, patient, and knowledgeable. Towards the second half of the meal, we were feeling a bit tired due to Jetlag and requested that the pacing of the meal be sped up and they were very accommodating about that. Many of the dishes had local ingredients and paid to Swedish cuisine. We also love to see that they had a non-alcoholic drink pairing.

I must admit, I had higher expectations for the dining experience. Although the food was decent overall, it was not exceptional as one would anticipate from this type of restaurant. The duck had a flavorful bloodline that was not pleasant and the fish was quite plain. We were served by two waitresses, one of whom was attentive and efficient while the other was not. We had to request additional silverware several times to properly enjoy our meal.

Amazing food, service and atmosphere.
Small restaurant which makes it quite and nice! They had non alcoholic drink meny that matches every dish which I loved. Not so many places offers that!

We had vegetarian and gluten intolerance as special food and they made without any problems.

Of course quite expensive but this is more like an experience than just a meal! Enjoy your time here!

A really lovely experience all round. It was a quiet evening (May bank holiday), but the staff made us feel very welcome and were very attentive.

The overall vibe of the restaurant was that it was very upmarket, without being overly pretentious like many similar restaurants. The quality of the food justifies the price and, even though we went for the smaller menu, the dishes were large enough that we felt very full by the end.

We had one vegan menu and one normal. The restaurant made an effort to make sure that when the dishes on each menu diverged, that the vegan option remained as close to the original as possible (e.g. substituting hamachi for kohlrabi). The flavours and textures were all complementary and clearly very well thought through, whilst making use of local, in season produce.

Excellent experience and I would highly recommend.

Ory was so vibrant, welcoming, and cozy that I had to go two nights in a row during my brief stay! Everything was so great - from the gentleman at door to the hostess, bartenders, bar manager and your neighbors (other guests!). Amazing drinks. We went when they had tea themed drinks. Delicious. Coco is mind blowing, complex in best way. Mango mystery was delicious not too sweet and very well balanced. Ennis and every other person we met there were lovely. It’s pricey but the right drinks are worth it. Ask for help to pick the right ones for your taste.

My friend and I stopped at this bar and we had one of the best experiences ever. Mika (bartender) does best margaritas and especially we loved his “in the honor of the grape” cocktail. Ory bar has great music, dark and elegant atmosphere with perfect service. Highly recommend!

Despite the slightly higher prices, Ory Bar is the best bar in Munich for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a great time with fantastic cocktails.
