Excellent meal with superb service as well! We ordered the tasting menu, and we were served a great variety of authentic Serbian cuisine. The produce was really fresh, and everything was really well done. Very value for money too! Highly recommended to anyone visiting Serbia!

Mateja doing best for his job maybe a little bit forget the order but anyway this restaurant is one of the best and real gem for Belgrade riverside. The atmosphere was very nice also

It was delicious and delightful introduction to Serbian cuisine.
We chose the place with the colleagues by recommendation from a friend but had zero expectations. We were warmly welcomed by our waiter Ivica who fully contributed to our good experience at Ambar. He helped with the choice and explained the menu. We chose the special offer to try every menu position and as our waiter promised - he was serving the dishes until we couldn’t eat any more. He also made sure that our colleague who doesn’t eat meat had enough vegetarian dishes during the dinner. Overall it was amazing and tasty experience with great service. Oh, and the place itself inside and outside looks very cozy and warm. My strong recommendation!

I thought I'd stop by here on my last day in Belgrade because I used to work at the Ambar in Clarendon (Arlington) location in Virginia, United States. The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the price was amazing for the absurd amount we got with the unlimited dining experience. I paid 30% less here with 3x the amount of food here and I was so happy.

So so much better selection and flavor than the Clarendon location. Like, 10/10 compared to a 3/10. The US location dishes got cheapened down in quality, portion, and taste over time as I worked there and I was disappointed until I visited the Belgrade location. The dishes and courses here were executed so well here! Mindblown.

Amazing experience!  We are visiting from the USA and the tasting menu was the perfect way to be introduced to Balkan cuisine! Our server Christina was very friendly and helpful.  It was very nice to sit outdoors and enjoy the beautiful weather.
