We had a late/9:00 reservation that was SO hard to get…lots of people tried to walk in but it was booked.  This place has been in the same location since 1869 and they have definitely mastered their craft.  Their dishes, house red, deserts, and service were all top tier.  Most tender chicken I’ve ever eaten and the steak Florentine was so tasty that I ate almost all the fat too!!!!  Our waiter was great, quick, spoke great English, and funny.  Only about 6 tables and you might be at the same table with another couple.  It was great…we loved it.

the butter chicken here is a can’t-miss type dish. Absolutely incredible. Everyone serving here was very warm, and the food was impeccable. Get the meringue cake with wild strawberries!! It also cannot be missed. One of the best meals I had while in Italy. Bravissimo!

One of the best places to have pasta ever. The NY Times was right to include this on the 25 best list. The almond "hummus" type spread that comes to the table first sets the tone for an amazing meal. The pate is also spectacular and the special bread can be consumed by the truckload. Wonderful ambience and great caring staff.

Very good place! The restaurant is beautiful, they have a very cool concept and the atmosphere is amazing. The service is more than great, they are super nice and all the time asking if you're okay and if you need anything else.
The food is delicious!

Wonderful little place we stumbled upon by chance. The food was delicious, especially the chicken liver pate, which was so flavoursome and the Cacio pasta, a buttery traditional dish which we have never had. We love trying unusual dishes. The coffee was the best we have had so far in Florence, a lovely rounded flavour, really good! Definitely try this little gem. Staff were so lovely too!

This rustling bustling little cafe seems to be favoured by the locals- I saw many people come here for a quick espresso or a catch up lunch with friends and family. I reserved a table therefore got seated quickly. The ragu pasta was sold out unfortunately so I took the one with cheese, which was good too.
