“Sanctuary” is a true description. Located perfectly next to all the main family attractions (we didn’t even need to use the free transport options). The setting is lush green gardens looking all the way up to tall trees. The buildings are heritage colonial style showcasing the city’s origins. The evening rains can bring out the call of the resident peacocks. As a hotel, the rooms were perfectly clean and well maintained. The staff are outstanding in their service and assistance. Looking forward to the next visit.

I recently stayed at Amara Sanctury Sentosa, and it was such an amazing experience. The service was top-notch—every staff member was incredibly kind and attentive, and they made me feel so welcome throughout my stay.
The room was fantastic—beautifully decorated, super clean, and really cozy. It felt like a little oasis, and I could tell how much care they put into making it comfortable for their guests.
The breakfast was another highlight of my stay. There was such a great variety, and everything was fresh and delicious. It was the perfect way to start my day!
Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience here, everything truly go above and beyond, and I can't wait to come back again someday!

We returned to Amara Sentosa to celebrate our anniversary. Our room view is not as extravagant as our first room this time but this all compensated by the staff service. Again, huge thanks to MJ for making our stay enjoyable and pleasant. Hotel was fully booked but MJ never let the customers down with her attentive and thoughtful service. Thanks MJ!

Amara is incredible they're so kind and they even gave us a gift from them.The food there varies so much and is super tasty. The location is slightly out of the center, but it is a short taxi journey away and they aren't expensive. It is on a big resort with lots of hotels. ♥️

My fiancé and I reached out to the hotel on 24 March 2025 regarding our solemnization and requested to visit the venues included in the solemnization package on 6 April 2025 at 3pm. The hotel was quick to respond to our emails, offering helpful suggestions for our solemnization and confirming the date and time of the site visit. This left me with a good first impression, and we were genuinely excited for the visit.

However, things went downhill when we arrived for the site visit. We arrived early, around 2.45pm, and informed the receptionist that we were there for the site visit. She noted down our names and asked us to take a seat while she contacted the coordinator. We waited for 30 minutes, yet no one came to meet us. We were seated right in front of the receptionist, but no one bothered to update us on the coordinator's status.

Eventually, my fiancé had to approach the receptionist to ask what was going on. To our frustration, they questioned us — asking if we were sure the appointment was today, and who the coordinator was, since they had two people with the same name. Shouldn’t they have clarified this earlier instead of leaving us waiting with no information? My fiancé then showed them the email confirming the appointment, and only then did they attempt to call the coordinator — on speakerphone, no less — only for us to find out the phone was switched off. That was truly disappointing.

What made the situation worse was the complete lack of initiative to offer a solution. No one stepped up to guide us through the site visit. We had to make the decision to explore the venue ourselves, based on verbal directions. It honestly felt like no one took ownership of the issue — like they were just happy to show us the way and be done with it. When we returned from viewing the venue, no one followed up to ask how it went or whether we needed any further assistance or information.

It’s now been more than half a day since this happened, and we have yet to receive any email or follow-up from the hotel. This entire experience has been very disappointing, and we no longer feel confident entrusting our solemnization to the hotel.
