A super experience !  Great welcome by 2 enthusiastic & passionate young professionals.  Cosy and trendy interior design.  They managed to use their tons of experience in Michelin start restaurants to develop their own style, using top class ingredients to create balanced dishes.  We loved it and will certainly come back.

In een mooi pand gelegen. Van binnen ruim en niet volgestampt met tafeltjes. Daardoor een hele huiselijke sfeer. Informeel. Gerund door een enthousiast jong team.

Vaak worden we bij restaurants in deze klasse - zeg maar tegen één ster aan - weggeblazen door amuses met een explosie aan smaken waardoor wat volgt soms wat wegvalt. Dat was hier niet. Amuses waren lekker maar zeker niet het hoogtepunt van de avond. De 6 gangen die volgden waren allen van zeer hoog niveau. Zagen er mooi uit maar overtuigden vooral door hun smaak.

Het is onmogelijk om een favoriet te kiezen uit de gangen met de oesterij, de krab en de bottoni. De griet was lekker maar bleef net wat achter. Het hoofdgerecht was daarentegen ook weer van zeer hoog niveau. Datzelfde mogen we zeggen van het zelf gebakken desembrood. Geweldig.

En dat alles met de mogelijkheid tot een bijpassende wijn. We hebben het rustig aan gedaan dus niet alle wijnen geproefd maar waar we wel een wijn bij hadden was die dik in orde en volgde er een leuke toelichting bij. Mooi om een vaak vergeten arneis te zien. Overigens ook een dikke plus voor het water arrangement. De hele avond plat of bruisend voor één prijs.

Het dessert bleef qua presentatie net wat achter maar was er wederom om eentje om lang bij te blijven. Weinig clichés wat dessert vaak wel zijn. Een geweldige afsluiting van een mooie avond.

Dank voor deze ervaring in het Zeeuwse. We hebben hier tijdens een vakantie gegeten. En dat allemaal dankzij een tip van kennissen die hier vaak komen eten.

Located in a beautiful building. Spacious inside and not crammed with tables. This creates a very homely atmosphere. Informal. Run by an enthusiastic young team.

We are often blown away at restaurants in this class - close to one star, say - by amuses with an explosion of flavors that sometimes make what follows a bit of a disappointment. That wasn't here. Appetizers were tasty but certainly not the highlight of the evening. The 6 courses that followed were all of a very high level. They looked nice but were mainly convincing because of their taste.

It's impossible to pick a favorite from the oyster, crab and bottoni courses. The brill was tasty but lagged behind a bit. The main course, on the other hand, was also of a very high standard. We can say the same about the home-baked sourdough bread. Great.

And all that with the option of a matching wine. We took it easy so we didn't taste all the wines, but where we did have a wine it was very good and there was a nice explanation. Nice to see an often forgotten arneis. Also a big plus for the water arrangement. All evening flat or sparkling for one price.

The dessert lagged slightly behind in terms of presentation, but was once again one to remember for a long time. Few clichés that dessert often has. A great end to a beautiful evening.

Thank you for this experience in Zeeland. We ate here while on holiday. And all thanks to a tip from acquaintances who often come to eat here.

Samen met mijn vriend een weekendje Kortgene gedaan en heerlijk gegeten bij Rozewied. Je wordt er culinair verwend en er wordt écht rekening gehouden met persoonlijke wensen en allergieën. Noëmie en Ferdy mogen trots zijn op hun werk en staan ook open voor een leuke babbel. Je bent er zeg maar te gast in hun woonkamer. Ook is het restaurant heel toegankelijk. Gratis parking voor de deur, rolstoelvriendelijk voor wie het nodig (toiletten zijn ook op gelijkvloers). Wij zijn fan! 🫶🏽

Spent a weekend in Kortgene with my friend and had a delicious meal at Rozewied. You will be spoiled for culinary pleasure and personal wishes and allergies are really taken into account. Noëmie and Ferdy can be proud of their work and are also open to a nice chat. You are, so to speak, a guest in their living room. The restaurant is also very accessible. Free parking in front of the door, wheelchair friendly for those who need it (toilets are also on the ground floor). We are fans! 🫶🏽
