Beautiful hotel nestled in the mountains in Mallorca! Outstanding service, amazing food. Having a two Michelin star restaurant on the premises was definitely a plus, but the other restaurants have great food as well. We rented a car and drove around the island. Everything is about an hour or so away from the resort, but easy to navigate. The place feels idyllic, almost like something out of a fairytale.

I recently stayed at Cap Vermell Mallorca and had an exceptional experience. The service was outstanding, and the hotel restaurants offered delicious meals with a great variety of options. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure every aspect of our stay was perfect.

However, I felt that the pool was a bit small and could be larger to accommodate more guests comfortably. Despite this, everything else was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and luxurious stay!

Incredible luxury hotel in Mallorca. Rooms are gorgeous and the details are very well thought out. Food was also surprisingly really good - breakfast was fantastic and all the restaurants were superb. Staff service was wonderful and super nice of them to upgrade our room. Beautiful location, but service can’t be worse. I actually thought they go out of their way to disappoint you! If you you, please go with zero expectations for service. I had requested a particular room and I was assured a few times over the phone and via email that my request was taken care of. Upon arrival, I was completely dismissed and somehow they found a way to unsent the confirmation email they had sent me about my request. We arrived at 9 am and our room was not ready until 7 pm and they came up with a bunch of lies regarding the reason, turns out they had it rented out to someone else for the day. And no one seemed to care about how wrong any of that was. I am not sure how they got their 5 stars, but if you have traveled any, you would give it more than 2!

Stunning resort! It was perfect that we had booked our last three nights in Mallorca at Cap Vermell. It was time to unwind and relax after 6 days of being busy exploring the island. Our room was lovely with a beautiful garden view terrace. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice getting complimentary water and sodas daily. The resort didn't seem very busy during our stay and it was quite quiet and peaceful. Before our visit, I had made reservations at Roka and Voro. Wonderful service and food. The view at Roka was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed all the restaurants and loved having different options. We used the spa twice for a one-hour massage and it was very relaxing in a spacious room with a terrace. Afterward, we drank hot tea and sat outside for more relaxation. The only complaint is that the room service food was a hit or miss and quite expensive for the quality and size. Overall, I highly recommend and would stay here again if we come back to Mallorca!

We have a little bit mixed emotions about this hotel. The overall stay was nice, the castle itself and the grounds are amazing and the staff is very friendly. BUT for a hotel in this price range there were many small things that doesn’t justify the high price. 1) In the room there was a kettle but no tea bags. 2) The water from the shower leaked somehow to the toilet area next to the shower. 3) At the breakfast they mix up the orders or they forget to bring something that you ordered. 4) We ordered a soft boiled egg on two different days, they always came fully hard cooked. The first soft boiled egg came on the  third day. 5) Drinking water by the pool should be included, there are many hotels in a price range 300€/night where the water is always included (sometimes also snacks). So for a hotel in a range 500€+/night it would be also expected - they offer a refillable bottle for 8€/day which is a good idea, but still… 6) Somebody drank 2 coffees in the main garden area, where the pond is located and nobody cleaned this table for 2 next days. The empty cups were just standing there and they put them away first on a third day.

Overall it was a good stay, but we were not blown away considering the price/quality ratio. Also it would suit the hotel more if it was Adults only as the pool area is quite small and yelling children don’t quite fit the relaxing atmosphere.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and was our favorite of the three hotels we stayed at during our honeymoon. If you're a reader, you'll enjoy finding a nice secret place to get lost in a story in the fruitful garden. For athletes, there's a tennis court amidst the hills, and for rest seekers there is no more beautiful a space than the pool area, (and the menu is delicious)!

The reason for the 4 star review is how we felt upon leaving the hotel. On one of our many amazing pool days, we happened to be sitting right next to another newlywed couple. We excitedly told the waitress we were celebrating our honeymoon just like the couple next to us. While they received many treats, desserts and champagne, we did not. And though we came in with 0 expectations, having that in our face was disheartening.

This review will not affect many, because Castell is truly a special and unforgettable. My note to the hotel staff: treat all celebrations and people equally, you may be surprised at what gets noticed.

A truly wonderful hotel, quiet and secluded in the Tramuntana mountains. The old castle has been transformed into a modern hotel with great effort and love. Very good cuisine in all the restaurants, excellent bar with cocktails made with ingredients from the hotel's own garden, wonderful swimming pool with a view of the mountains.
If you are looking for peace and relaxation and a stylish ambience, this is the place for you!

BUT

The overall value for money proposition is not given (if it was half the price, it would feel more appropriate. Why? There are a few points to mention:

In the main house, the windows can’t be opened on the evening as it’s extremely loud due do the restaurant being in the middle of the hotel. The rooms are not necessarily „cozy“ and very small.   It’s also important to mention that the rooms don’t have smart TVs (so Netflix etc can’t be used). Other amenities like the tennis court and not really well maintained, the tennis rackets/balls are not really usable and the gym is tiny (with very old equipment).
