Had late lunch / early dinner yesterday, and what I can say - just wow! 🤩 This place is beautiful , food is delicious, drinks are good, service is great!
If I would live in West Hollywood - definitely would be there very often!
And yes, they have an amazing happy hour 😂Now I wanna try Cecconi’s in Miami.  Hope will get the same cool experience.

Came here two times and I’m not gonna say I was disappointed, but I can’t say either it was worth it.

Came one time for dinner - we had a reservation, still had to wait quite some time to be seated. We were seated inside.
And, it was one of the loudest restaurant I have been to. I feel Americans are used to this, and don’t care. But, it felt you were in a nightclub, but it was just because people talking - or I should say screaming. Nothing the restaurant can totally control, but wanted to share this feedback.

The food was fine. Nothing outstanding. We just left after entrées because of our experience.

I also came another time for lunch - a bit late like around 2pm, but the restaurant is still open so you expect some service. Well, there was barely any. We asked for help with umbrellas and they pretended they were calling the manager. Trying to get a waiter was a mission. Again, some food items were okay, and other just simple.

Since this is more of a fancy restaurant, you do have some high expectations. Maybe it was just bad timings for me, but it didn’t really make me want to come back.

Went for a birthday celebration and we were not disappointed. 4 of us (and one dog) were welcomed to the expanded outside patio. Very well laid out and not at all crowded. The nosie level outside is also nice. We had a variety of dishes and all were wonderful, starting with the avocado and chickpea dip. It came in a huge silver champagne bucket full of a wide variety of vegetables. We also ordered the fennel pizza. Big pieces of well seasoned sausage on a wonderful and well baked dough. Very tasty sauce too. Four entrées were ordered  - butter lettuce salad, cavatelli lamb ragu, rigatoni bolognese and fusilli pesto. Of course we all had to taste and share each one. Subtle salad with light dressing, tasty lamb in a wonderful ragu, traditional bolognese with a lot of beef (although I do prefer a mixutre of beef and sausage) and a subtle pesto dish that was not overpowering. Of course a fine wine by the glass and bottle selection too. The drinks are great and well mixed, including the non alcoholic ones. Since it was a birthday, they presented us a profiterole with salted caramel gelato complete with a candle. They never rushed us and it was a wonderful relaxing time. Definitely worrh a return visit. Valet and metered street parking.

Always a good choice.
Went back today. Everything was yummy except the gigantic sorbet scoops at the end. Their Gelato used to be amazing. Also missed the usual breadsticks we used to get. The outside seating was spectacular.  The seating hostess and valet were very warm.
A little expensive for a lunch. >$130pp.

The food is really flavourful And the staff are very tentative and friendly along side a very nice environment especially the outdoor area.

Vi kom hit för en födelsedagsmiddag i maj 2025 och det var en stor upplevelse. Maten var gudomlig, personalen var mycket uppmärksam och vänlig. Överraskade oss med en födelsedag dessert som var härlig. Betjänad var också bra.

Ganska dyrt men värt ett besök särskilt för lunch som mycket avslappnad.

Vi bodde på Kimpton La Peer och detta var gångavstånd och rekommenderas av föraren som plockade upp oss från flygplatsen - det gjorde ingen besviken! Jag hade en Buffalo mozzarella pizza (margarita pizza) som var perfekt och precis hur jag älskar mina pålägg och ved - eldade pizza. Min man hade Pappardelle, som servitören rekommenderade. Det var enastående också. Vi njöt av profiteroles till dessert, som aldrig bör missas eftersom de kan vara en svår dessert att hitta! Vi skulle beställa allt igen och definitivt äta här igen. Servicen var lite konstigt eftersom vi slutade med att flera personer levererade drycker, mat, dessert, etc. men kanske var det ett skiftbyte eftersom vi var där för en mycket sen lunch. Restaurangen var ren och snyggt inredda med en gammal vibe.

Jag har varit här ett par gånger men fick bara en chans att lämna en recension. Maten är alltid god, speciellt den röda quinoasalladen med lax — ett måste för mig. Jag rekommenderar också osttallriken (cicchettti, charkuterier & ostar) till att börja med och den grillade kryddiga hela kycklingen, som är supergod. Det korta revbenet jag hade förra gången var glömskt. Service från servern eller bartendern är alltid utmärkt, och värdinnan är söt och vänlig. Det är bättre att boka bord tidigt, eftersom du kan förvänta dig att vänta över 30 minuter, särskilt på helgerna. De erbjuder också betjänad service. Sammantaget är detta ställe en av mina favoritplatser att äta i LA.

Hade en underbar matupplevelse, trångt för att säga minst men det kommer med territoriet. Min server Lisa var otroligt upptagen men såg till att vår mat där så snabbt som möjligt och var efter vår smak. Gick på en måndag kväll för 1/2 prisdelning special och var mycket glad.

På den goda sidan var pizza riktigt bra men jag kommer inte att gå tillbaka.

Detta var verkligen en av mina favoritställen att äta både i Miami och LA tills vår upplevelse igår när jag föreslog denna restaurang till mina föräldrar som hade gäster från utlandet. Och lyckligtvis fick en av gästerna på bordet en okänd metallbit i hennes huvudrätt. De låter uppenbarligen servern om detta och chefen kom ut med orden jag är ledsen. Vill du att jag ska ta med en ny? Följt av det negativa svaret gick allt som om ingenting hände som om det var ok ingen stor sak alls på en 5-stjärnig restaurang, server tog med räkningen och vi lämnade. Uppenbarligen bryr det sig inte mer om kundupplevelsen och deras goda namn. Mycket besviken övergripande. Kan vara tacospår runt hörnet hade varit ett bättre val. Allt kan hända vi är alla mänskliga men nyckeln är att göra det rätt och att inte få kunder att känna att de behandlades som skit.

Åkte dit med min dotter och kusin och blev förvånad över äktheten och smaken på maten. Vinet var också enastående och jag valde faktiskt ut det bästa Amarone jag någonsin har haft.

Gjorde en middag reservation en månad i förväg som denna restaurang kom rekommenderas. Anlände i tid och bad att vänta som de var tvungna att "sätta bordet". Vi väntade i baren, som var packad och super högt. Slutligen efter 15 minuter satt vi vid ett bord i baren. Efter några minuter började folket i barområdet i praktiskt taget stå på oss så vi frågade servern om vi kunde flytta ett bord över som det inte var riktigt mitt i baren. Hon tackade gärna. Kort efter detta kom den manliga värden upp till oss och frågade fritt om vi hade bett någon att flytta eller flyttade vi oss själva. Förrätten var bra. Inget bröd tillhandahölls trots att andra tabeller hade det. Min huvudrätt kom ut en bra 7 minuter innan min dotter pizza. Även Olive Garden vet att detta inte är bra restaurang etikett! Plus maten var verkligen bara eh och jag lämnade känner mig verkligen besviken. Kunde inte vara störd med efterrätt eftersom jag inte gav dem mer av min tid eller pengar.

Köket serverar fram till midnatt, eller kanske 1 am, ritar oss efter symfonin. Det är lite för boisteröst och ett ljudsystem som är så föråldrat, det gör ont.

Gör inga ben om det: Cecconi är vad det verkar vara. . . en grundläggande italiensk restaurang som bryr sig mer om scenen och mindre - långt mindre - om maten. Jag är ingen främling till Cecconi, men det var vårt första besök på LA-utposten, där musiken pumpade, bar fulla med enstaka 35-40 somethings, och borden fastnade tillsammans för extra intimitet. Våra dryck, middag och dessert order plus lagförslaget var alla tagna och betjänas av olika människor, så vi tippar alla och ingen i synnerhet. Vår beställning av burrata var gummi och återvände till köket, stek var tuff, salladsvampad och aubergine Parmesan lika bra som Mama Rosa s. Ärligt inte vår scen - kanske för att vi egentligen bryr oss om mat? ! - men om du bryr dig mer om att fylla en tidslucka med "Cecconi", fortsätt sedan!

Gick till middag på onsdagskväll och var chockad över att se hur det händer denna plats var! Det var packat och baren var område var full. Vi fick utmärkt service; servitören var informativ och ärlig med menyalternativ. Vi älskade allt vi beställde - endast bläckfiskdelen var lite liten.
Jag rekommenderar att du beställer marengs desserten; det var att - dö för!

Jag kom hit med ut ur släktingarna som åtnjutit sin måltid här och den livliga atmosfären och atmosfären på platsen. Bra service, bra mat med riktig smak som var tilltalande för våra gomar.

Vi har varit ett par gånger för söndagskvällen. Du får en sallad, pizza och val av en pasta, serverad familjestil för fyra för $ 50. På söndagen har de också en trollkarl att underhålla. Tog barnbarnen och de slukade pizza och pasta. Bästa delen av måltiden var salladen laddad med kyckling och bacon. Tjänsten var mycket bra. Har inte varit en vanlig måltid, men söndagsafton är värt en resa.

Free parking with only a short 0.7mile walk to the Observatory. Cost of a planetarium ticket was $9 which was reasonable. Fairly busy but that is to be expected with close views of the Hollywood sign. Access to the Observatory itself was free and had a good hour or so worth of things to see.

Beautiful hiking area. There is so much to explore, and many trails. Most popular is the hike to the observatory. It's a beginner to intermediate type of hike. For a shorter easier hike that is still a good work out you'll want to try the ferndell loop trail. Really huge park.

Enjoy this hike every time I’m out there, going from observatory to the Hollywood sign, great view of the LA skyline. Hydration is a must even when it’s overcast. From Greek Theater to Observatory and Hollywood sign 5 miles in 5 miles out.

Absolute gorgeous morning. Arrive before 10 as that’s when parking costs $10 AN HOUR so get up and head to trails early. The views are stunning and pets are welcome. Will look forward to coming back.

Sadly there’s too much light pollution to see much of the night sky
