My girlfriend and I love watching David Chang‘s Dinner Time Live on Netflix for late night television, so you know I had to scope this place out. Nestled in the heart of the shops & restaurants at Hudson Yards all right by the Javis Convention Center, you'll find the small but unique restaurant specializing in OG chicken sandos (sandwiches), tenders and fries.

As of this writing, I've been here a couple of times, and I typically get my Knockout or OG with pickles. The jumbo chicken tenders are another go-to, but for sharing. Emphasis on the word jumbo. Like, I mean, even the smallest piece packs a punch and could fill you up. The chicken hits the necessary levels: slightly crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside and tasty with or without the sauce. "Come hungry, leave happy".

Not to mention, this location probably has the friendliest staff in the entirety of the mall. No matter what time of day I go (either for a late afternoon lunch or last-minute dinner), the customer service is on point. Mikey, for one, is exceptional❗️

I haven't had their burgers or their🆕️ginger rice bowls (which were sold out when I arrived, a potential sign of how good they really are), but I definitely will next time‼️

Spicy and sweet chicken sandwiches that are delicious and a freshly waffle style french fries that are awesome. On the second floor of the Hudson yard friendly people.

FUKU was definitely spicy so don’t forget the water or drink! It was ALL so delicious though. The best way to experience it is to see the special. We were able to grab a fully loaded chicken sandwich $9.99 with made to order waffle fries $3.99 and really enjoyed the experience! PS the can of Diet Coke is $3.25 so maybe bring your own! I have to go back for the Barbie Pink lemonade!

Restaurant located inside of Hudson yards on the second floor.

I was attending a conference at the Javits center so I walked over. The first day i ate at this restaurant everything was hot and tasted good. I got the wings and fries. The wings were freshly cooked and seasoned perfectly.

The next day I ordered lunch during the conference, I got the wings.  This time, they tasted bad, and were dried out and tough. I was so disappointed at the waste of $18 for 6 wings. Because I was short on time, I couldn’t return them

Place is small. Not a lot seating space.  The mall has seating space in the public areas but not easy to find empty open space . Very pleasant  and greeted warmly when entering.

Not group,wheelchairs or pet friendly.

Chicken was BUSSSINNN
SO crispy, juicy, and just delectable frfr. Got the tenders. The sauce was really hot, too!! The food took around 10 minutes, and the inside of the restaurant is crowded and small, but there is outdoor seating.

Fuku är inne i Hudson Yards på andra våningen. Se till att du tar rätt hiss eller rulltrappan. Jag och min fru letade efter mat efter att ha lämnat The Edge attraktion på taket av byggnaden. Vi hittade restaurangerna på de nedersta våningarna, och jag nöjde mig med Fuku. Platsen är liten. Knappt något sittutrymme. Personalen var trevlig dock. Jag beställde knockout kyckling smörgås, och lade på pommes frites, med jalapeno kryddor. Den totala kom upp till $ 21 , som jag trodde var dyrt för en snabbmat - esque chicken sandwich & pommes frites, men jag antar att jag borde krita upp det till NYC priser. Hur som helst, allt var bra, och om jag kom tillbaka hit, kanske jag skulle prova något annat på deras meny.

Äntligen hade tid och chans att prova KFC i NYC istället för Toronto. Jag såg fram emot att prova mat av Momofuku.
Jag blev besviken över deras signatur stekt kyckling. För mig är en bra krispig beläggning essensen för en bra bit stekt kyckling. Beläggningen var så svår att bita trots att mina tänder inte är svaga. Köttet är saftigt. Jag älskar deras Hawaiian ostbröd. Jag har andra tankar efter att jag beställde koreansk stekt kyckling igen. . . .

Vi ville verkligen prova det eftersom jag har rekommendationer. Vi hade kycklingfingrar och pommes frites. Pommes frites verkade tuffa liksom kycklingen gjorde. Tyvärr var det inte så spännande.

Fuku på The Hudson Yard. Det är en ny franchise eller kedja av David Chang Chef, där du kan äta stekt kycklingsmörgås / hamburgare. De har 3 alternativ som du kan beställa med olika sidor (valfritt) som pommes frites, sallad, etc.

Min kombinationsruta var $ 14. Pommes frites är verkligen bra. De lägger salt, peppar och kanske en annan ingrediens som gör det salt och riktigt bra. Som en "överraskning" lägger de ett ostbröd som också är riktigt bra. Om stekt kycklingburgare eller smörgås för att vara ärlig var det normalt. När du försöker har den inte en kycklingsmak. De bröd kycklingen och kanske sätter något annat för att få en annan smak men i slutet var det ok. Något som jag inte gillar är att kycklingen har mycket fett.

Jag drogs av namnet och kunde inte ha varit mer nöjd med maten! Jag bor i Hudson Yards och nu har en gå till plats för några av de bästa kyckling jag har haft! Delarna är stora och priserna är mycket rimliga. Så bra! ! ! ! !

Övergripande ett mycket bra besök i Fuku. Jag är ett fan av koreansk stekt kyckling och det blev mycket bra gjort. Crispy tjock skorpa på vitlök kyckling. Precis som förväntat, men om du ville ha något lätt och eterligt så kommer det inte att bli det. Det här är den sicilianska till din New York-stil: en hunk av en tjock skorpa, och om det är din sylt, blir du glad.

Slushie lemonad var utmärkt - stannade kallt och isig länge, även på en varm dag och var mycket uppfriskande. Definitivt rekommendera. Storleken kan se liten ut, men den packar en socker-, lemonspel och du kommer att bli gjort längst ner i den lilla koppen.

Personalen var fantastiskt - Njeri tog verkligen hand om oss även genom min botched ordning och frågor. Kunde inte ha varit mer tålmodig eller tillmötesgående.

Grillad ost: skulle vara bra om de hade en icke-kimchi-version. Tyvärr var det verkligen oljigt och lite för kryddigt för min dotter.

Våffel frites var för blond och inte särskilt smakfull. På något sätt ringer de andra sidorna inte till oss. Skulle ha älskat mer koreanska sidor - något mer vinegary, sylt etc för att skära igenom fettfaktorn på kycklingen. Det fanns lite pickles som serverades med kycklingen men vi älskade inte dem och de hjälpte inte riktigt att balansera måltiden alls.

Sittplatser är ett problem, eftersom det verkar vara nära alla Chang snabbmat alternativ (sittplatser utanför hans wrap-plats i Time Warner Center är lika skrämmande).

Sammantaget hade vi ett mycket bra besök, i stor utsträckning till Njeri som gick utöver att hjälpa oss. Jag skulle rekommendera ett besök om du är ett fan av traditionell stil koreansk stekt kyckling. Du kommer inte bli besviken (men gå inte till sidorna - de är inte värda extra $ eller rummet i din mage som kan ägnas åt huvudhändelsen).

Vi hade en halv kyckling och en fjärdedel kyckling för tre av oss. För halva kycklingen bad jag om mild smak. För kvartalet bad min dotter efter den söta ingefärafärgen. Vi gillade våra val. Det finns inte tillräckligt med platser. Du ser människor sitta på golvet i hallen. För drycker har de kinesiskt te, iste och citrondrycker. Tjänsten är ganska snabb för denna ganska nya operation.
