Traveling for business, I was pleasantly surprised by this beautiful hotel in Midtown. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was seamless, and the front desk team was incredibly attentive—exactly what you want after a long day of travel.

The rooms? Surprisingly spacious for Midtown! Recently remodeled with bright, welcoming colors, they felt fresh and modern. The tech-friendly touches were a standout—pull-out nightstand drawers with easy-access outlets, plus tech pads that let you control the lights from bed (because who wants to get up once you’re cozy?).

Exceptional everything!! Me and my boyfriend had an amazing experience here at The Peninsula New York and Raul upstairs at the bar gave us great service and we had a good time chatting with him. Thank you for everything!!

An excellent gym and a good pool with great views are the best reasons to stay here, besides the location near Central Park. The rooms are small but comfortable with high-quality beds / linens / pillows. The only real downside is that there are limited amenities due to the very small lobby area; it’s not a place that you would receive friends or spend an afternoon lounging.

5 Stars to Bar at  Clement,  5 Stars to the Front Desk.  (-0 Neg Stars to Pen Top Bar.)   Haven't been to New York in sometime,  and had to visit one of my favorite places for cocktails. The weather was cold,  had my fur coat my scarf and my leather gloves that I had for 20 years that were very sentimental to me from Saks Fifth Avenue, San Francisco. I had a childhood friend meet me at this hotel for cocktails. Visited the Clement Bar, their service is beyond amazing then we decided to visit Pen Top Bar.  From the moment we walked in we never received a welcome or hello we decided to go out to the outdoor patio and take a few photographs. I took my gloves off to take a few selfies. We then decided to go somewhere else and have drinks due to the poor service.  Got on the elevator downward, I then realized I forgot my gloves and we took the elevator back up. I started asking the staff if they could please help me find my gloves, as I went to where I sat them down and they were not there.  In asking the staff I was very ignored, and no one cared, it only made me feel upset and saddened by the help I received. I then spoke to a man in a suit who looked like he had some kind of authority and he came up with excusesfor his staff, from my observation no one was that busy.  No one in this bar went out of their way or even ask me is there anything we can do to help you. Then went to the front desk where they were very helpful in taking my phone number and stating they would have someone look and give me a call. We love the hotel! But decided to go to the Ritz-Carlton where we were welcomed and felt like very special people compared to the Rooftop Bar at The Peninsula. I will never visit that rooftop bar again. I then called the hotel the next morning and spoke to the front desk person and she's explained to me they found one glove,  and explained what it look like and it was not my gloves.  Very sad the front desk has to give apologies for other roof top staffs services.  I will be following up with management to explain the situation and hope they found these gloves that have special purpose in my life. If only the rooftop stop helped me I'm sure they would have been found now they can get me a new pair of Saks Fifth Avenue.
