The front desk host was extremely rude. I made the reservation 10 days in advance for a Thursday. In the notes, I requested a table by the window (it was my birthday, and I wanted it to be special), and a week before, I called to confirm the table with a window view.
I arrived 15 minutes early, and the host treated us with hostility and reluctance. The restaurant was empty (there were at most three occupied tables), yet she made us wait 30 minutes to seat us in a corner far from the windows. I kindly asked if it would be possible to sit somewhere else, explaining that I had requested something special for my birthday. She rolled her eyes and, without saying a word, snatched the menu from my hand and placed it on another table, which we assumed meant she was moving us.

The food was very good, though the pizza was cold, but we didn’t feel comfortable saying anything because the staff looked angry and hostile, providing very mediocre service. (I’ve worked as a server, barista, and bartender, so I empathize and understand how tough these roles are, but this attitude was unacceptable.)

I do have to say that the place is beautiful, and the dessert was delicious. They give me a candle for my birthday, which was a thoughtful gesture that cheered me up after such poor treatment from the host.

It’s a shame that such a beautiful place hires people who are so rude, hostile, and unfriendly.

the interior of the place is really nice and the views of the bridge are incredible. I was lucky they were able to accommodate me as one of the last reservations for the night. I will say it’s pretty dark in there at night and the little light or candle on the table is not enough. I ordered the rigatoni and felt it was a bit too salty.

This place has the most beautiful view in Dumbo. It’s at Time Out Market, so it may be a crowd. We were able to walk in and get bar seats no problem. The bartender was ok. A little condescending in the service. The food was bland, but this is high tourist traffic, so it’s a given to not have a lot of seasoning in the food. But you’re not here for delicious food, you come for delicious views.

Cecconi’s is an amazing restaurant! I went here for my sweet 16th birthday yesterday and they reserved our table a few minutes early when I walked in, and they allowed us to sit outside. The atmosphere was blessingly beautiful by the bridge which was really appealing. I had a table of 6 with me and we ate good with a fair price. The waiter was also very kind and checked on us a couple times, and remembering individually our orders per person at the table. The food was very delicious, the calamari was the best that my friends liked, as well as the pizza was very delicious. The zucchini fries were also a hit since they had a big portion of them for that price they had. The drinks were very nice as well as it had real fruit juice in them, I got the La Dolca Vita and it was very refreshing. And finally for the desserts they were a big size, and I got a candle lit up for my birthday which was very nice of them. They also gave me another portion of ice cream, and they packed the take out home for each of us individually. The staff came around to check on us a few times to see if we were doing well. Overall, this restaurant made a huge difference and it was comfortable to sit around with friends and the food was the most delicious they ever had there :) ❤️

Atmosphere was amazing and food was tasty. Service was just odd and I believe it was only our server. He did not come to our table ask anything and we had to tell other servers to take care of us. Overall was great experience.

Vacker restaurang och läge. Maten var fantastisk, mycket generösa portioner. Avokado- och kikärtsdippet med crudites var spektakulärt

Fantastisk atmosfär, utmärkt och mycket uppmärksam Service. Mycket trevlig vinlista. Min butternut squash med smörsalviasås var helt fantastisk. Glöm inte desserterna, eftersom min mjölfria chokladkaka var gudomlig. Vi tyckte alla att det var en utmärkt restaurang värd sitt betyg.

Eftersom vi bor i grannskapet, vi ville ha en bit eftersom vädret var bra. Kanske vårt 10:e besök på Cecconi’s och det är alltid bra. Lunch med utsikt speciellt när du firar din 13-årsdag. 

Salvatore var vår server, mycket älskvärd försökte merförsäljning naturligtvis, han var på sitt spel. Vi delade deras zucchini fritti och jag åt senare aubergine parmesan och min fru åt deras endivesallad. Allt var ganska gott. Hade ätit pizza men jag tycker det är lite för dyrt. 

Hade hoppats att Cecconi’s skulle ge oss något att dela med oss av till efterrätt, trots att vi sa ingen efterrätt, vara ett speciellt tillfälle, etc.... Jag har arbetat inom gästfrihet i över 30 år, så upplevelsen hade gjort vår lunch ännu bättre.

Maten var enastående, presentationen var härlig, utanför vyn var trevligt, vår servitör Alan (Allen? ) var fantastisk. Jag åt en säsongssallad med persikor och tillsatte den grillade laxen, och det var en av de mest njutbara "nyttiga" måltider jag ätit på länge. Min syster, som är både vegan och glutenintolerant, åt en rostad blomkålsgrej som hon absolut älskade. "Läckert och vackert presenterat" är hur hon uttryckte det. 

Det enda negativa hade inget att göra med restaurangen, men tågen som skramlade förbi på bron kunde vara ganska högt ibland. 

Sammantaget en helt fantastisk upplevelse. Jag är förvånad att den här restaurangen inte har bättre recensioner.

Härligt ställe att ha en bra pizza i Brooklyn. Fantastisk utsikt över Brooklyn Bridge och Manhattan Bridge. Vi åt en god tryffelglutenpizza. Det var ett utmärkt val för vår sista natten i NY.

Som Italienska och foodie kommer jag ofta på mig själv med att hoppas på god mat och inse att detta verkligen är utmanande. Jag stötte på Cecconis av en slump och måste erkänna att trots den betydande bristen på italienska arbetstagare där är matutbudet exceptionellt och servicen är nära perfekt. Welldone för allt och mest av allt för denna välkomna överraskning.

Jag undrade in i Cecconis medan jag gick runt Dumbo tydligen efter en enorm examensceremoni i närheten. Restaurangen är vacker och utsikten från uteplatsen är helt underbar. De var smällda så servicen var ganska långsam men jag njöt av utsikten. Jag väntade en timme på min sallad och det var ganska dyrt för en sallad men endivesalladen med lax var den bästa salladen jag någonsin ätit. Den lätta bitterheten från endiven, den söta/sura från citrusdressingen och blodapelsiner, den salta nötigheten från parmesanen på toppen och den smöriga - heten från den perfekt tillagade laxen var helt gudomlig. Jag åt salladen i onsdags, kom hem i fredags och ska försöka efterlikna salladen idag. Önska mig lycka till!

Fantastisk utsikt. Utmärkt läge. Om du är på besök och vill ha en speciell kväll så är det inte illa. 

Men. . . om du vill ha god mat, eller bra service, eller ett bra värde för pengarna, eller vill äta på mindre än en timme - - - > sedan gå någon annanstans. 

Inte en plats att gå till om du inte är med bra sällskap och kan ha bra samtal eftersom servicetiden är lång och du kommer att ha pinsam tystnad.

Gör det inte. Dessa människor förstår inte gästfrihet. Det är helt klart ett turistställe och de bryr sig inte om du kommer tillbaka eller inte.

Vi var på besök från uk äta middag med vänner som bor i Dumbo som är stamkunder. 
Vackert läge vid floden med fantastisk utsikt över Manhattan om du kan boka ett fönsterbord. 
Service fantastisk, verkligen vänlig och uppmärksam utan att vara irriterande! En servitör råkade välta ett glas vin på bordet (inga stora olyckor händer) , det städades snabbt upp och vin byttes ut utan ett tigg väsen som var bra. 
Maten är trevlig men inte enastående, därav 4 stjärnor i stället för 5 . Om du var en imponerande plats och bra service denna plats är perfekt.

Trevlig  personal och atmosfären i restaurang var bra men tyvärr var maten medioker och pastan upplevdes som halvfabrikat, maten var inte värd sitt pris.

Först, plats, plats, plats. Gorgeous. Restaurangen i sig är också smakfullt inredda. En vacker miljö och ett vackert utrymme. Den vispade ricottan var fantastisk. Det bästa jag någonsin haft. Espresso martini top notch också. Jag älskade inte pizzan. Jag kände att det var klart. Det var gott men svårt att äta eftersom degen var slapp. Jag är säker på om jag frågade de skulle ha tillagat den i pizzaugnen längre men jag frågade inte. Aubergine var också utsökt. Hade inga problem att komma till taket som också var vacker. Jag kommer definitivt att gå igen.

Det är svårt att få ett bord utanför med utsikten men vi kunde göra det med vår bokning. De har en bra bartender, och deras tunna skorpa tegel - ugn pizzor (personlig storlek) är utmärkta. De serverar också respektabel pasta och kyckling parm. Zucchini fritti är en vinnare av en förrätt. Du betalar lite extra för utsikten och läget men de lurar dig inte på kvaliteten. Värt ett försök oavsett om du besöker eller lokalbefolkningen (som oss).

Njuter av min lunch på Cecconi’s. Trevlig personal och utsökt pasta. Restaurangen är vacker och ligger precis vid vattnet. Jag begärde ett bord med utsikt över vattnet och de satte mig precis framför fönstren vilket uppskattades

Jag är på semester med min familj (pappa, mamma och flickvän — bara jag talar engelska) här i New York. Vi är turister från Brasilien, och vi hade en fruktansvärd upplevelse på Cecconi Dumbo den 12 / 31 / 2024 . Chefen sparkade ut oss från restaurangen och var extremt oförskämd mot oss. 

Vi hade varit på restaurangen i ca 5 - 10 minuter, efter att ha beställt drinkar, när min familj bestämde sig för aptitretare. En av servitörerna hade förstått de två förrätterna som min familj ville beställa och var på väg att göra beställningen i köket, men chefen ingrep och sa att vi var tvungna att beställa både förrätt och huvudrätt samtidigt. Min familj begärde att vänta lite på mig att avsluta ett telefonsamtal och hjälpa till att översätta menyn så att vi kunde bestämma vad vi ska beställa. 

Min familj förstod inte varför vi var tvungna att beställa både förrätt och varmrätt tillsammans. Vi har varit på många restauranger i både USA och Brasilien, och vi har aldrig behövt göra detta. Min familj använde även Google Translate för att försöka kommunicera. 

Efter ca 15 minuter sedan vi kom till restaurangen, chefen kom till vårt bord och, på ett extremt oförskämt sätt, berättade vi hade en minut att beställa eller vi skulle behöva lämna. Han tvingade oss att beställa. Han anklagade mig för att vara oförskämd mot honom, men jag hade inte ens pratat med honom – jag pratade fortfarande i telefon. Jag sa att vi hade en hemsk upplevelse av den situationen. 

Några av de saker han sa var: 
 ”Du är inte i Brasilien, du är i Amerika.”
 ”Ska du beställa maten, eller ska du bara fortsätta prata?”
