AF supply will not honor water heater replacement warranty. They send you to a third party that will charge $300 "handling fee" for the replacement.

All I can say is JOYCE!  What a pleasure!! She helped me to figure out something that after about 20 phone calls all around the five boroughs, no one else could get done.  THANK YOU!

Our contractor bought a hot water heater unit from them.  Unit failed.  We received a return authorization number from AO Smith because it was within the window of warranty from the contractor invoice date.  AF wanted their invoice from our contractor which I do not have b/c he retired.  I let them know we have a serial number and they can look it up on their system.  The first guy on the first day Haj or Naseem said their system had we t down and lost records from 3 years ago.  Next day Naseem just straight out said their system was not down but they will not help us and will not look up past sales records.  Ferguson helped us instead.  These guys are rude and not very truthful.  Extremely poor support.
