Fast and friendly service, they gave us some watermelon and honeydew as complimentary desert at the end. The food was generally good. We liked the kebab and Arab bread the most. Though the amount of meat was relatively small and had a bit of strong cumin taste but still good.

We went for a family dinner in the middle of August. Amazing atmosphere, delicious food and exceptional customer service.
The owner lady came to our table to great us and explained some details about the dishes that were served. Would love to go again and try the other dishes from their menu, as they were fantastic and completely different from the traditional Greek taverna's around. Highly recommend, will be visiting again when back in Chania.

Overpriced tourist trap. Food is greasy and tastes bland. Bread upfront is like rubber. The Amuse-Gueule? A selection of radish. Just pass this restaurant and choose another one. Totally delicious food, creative, well presented, to the point and not pretentious. Tuna tartar is amazing, taramas also very tasty, grilled octopus is tender and perfectly cooked, croquettes are crispy on the outside and filled with cheesy goodness, the eggplant is fantastic. Desserts are also superb, we tried the namelaka and the crack pie, both were wonderful.

Overall a great experience. What would elevate it even more would be more attentive service. They are indeed friendly and helpful but would expect a bit more in terms of hospitality and attentiveness.

The duck breast over beetroot risotto was fantastic and the grilled octopus we had as a started was perfectly cooked. The croquettes were really tasty as well however quite small - the restaurant should make them a bit larger. The staff was very attentive and the restaurant provided a small complementary dessert and the local spirit called tsipouro.
