Whereas the outside of this cathedral is large and impressive, the inside is rather plain. I really enjoyed this because Christ was simple. It’s very rare to find a cathedral in Europe that isn’t overly decorated. The pews were in the form of a cross, also adding to the strategic and aesthetic emphasis on the cross. Very unique, worth visiting, but will only take 10 minutes.

This is a must-see monument and a beautiful church to visit. The architecture is superb. Be careful on the stairs as there are no hand rails. They are monumental and once at the top give a great view of the square and surrounds.

This cathedral is the most visited building in the city.
Due to an injury, I couldn’t climb the steps Instead took lots of photos, however practically impossible to take a photo without people in the background.  The cathedral was amazing to see from the square.

This is recommended to go deeper into the story and history of the Panama Canal that the Canal visitor center doesn't touch on. If you came to Panama City to check out the canal then also take the time to go to the museum. I had no idea how complicated the relationship between the USA and Panama was. Entrance fee was reasonable (about $12) and the exhibits are in Spanish and English. Well laid out. Water and bathrooms on every floor.

This is a very interesting museum chuckfull of all kinds of information regarding Panama and its famous canal. In addition, they include some original artifacts to discover too.

I absolutely loved the old tech they have here,you'll see items from the early 1900s. The history of the canal is great and it's a nice escape from the heat. The gift shop is a bit basic but some cute items. It's very cool what they have here and you learn a lot.

As you enter, you are greeted by a very nice receptionist who gives you the ticket and explains the building and what is inside. There are two main floors, both accessible by stairs and elevator. The first floor explores the history of canal's construction, and the second one goes into details of its nationalisation and the upheaval that this call by Panamanians creates throughout the 20th century. Overall, you get some good insight into the history of one of the most important man made structures in the world.

The room at this hotel cost 1900 SEK (~€180) and was very overpriced. It would have been an okay – but not great – deal at half the price, considering the standard.

On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean, but that does not make a five star review. The atmosphere in this expensive room was “worn down student apartment”. The bathroom had a soap dispenser, but lacked shampoo and conditioner. One of the nightstands lacked a lamp, which made it awkward if you woke up in the night and needed to use the restroom. Cables were a mess.

It’s clear that nobody really cares about this place, other than cleaning it. The staff were nice and helpful, but it seemed like both were very inexperienced and young.

I have the feeling this place is expensive to run and they’re cutting every corner to keep costs down - including heavily overpricing the rooms.
