Dined here last night and it was excellent!Ivan, our server, and Omar (manager? Owner?) were fantastic. The ceviche, octopus starters and the shrimp with polenta was so good. Loved the spicy margs. Was a little nervous because there were no other customers when we arrived but had remembered it being great on a previous trip, and glad we went again last night - it was fantastic!

We ate at Boquinete seafood tonight. I wasn’t sure I wanted to go there because I couldn’t see in from the door, I’m really one for atmosphere but as soon as we got in and were greeted by Ricardo our waiter, we knew we had made the right decision.  Ricardo is so very caring and professional. He gave us some great suggestions. His English is impeccable. He made our experience great, and put us in a beautiful spot right over the water. The food was fabulous. The ceviche was so fresh. Also, his suggestion for dessert was perfect.  It’s much more on the inside than it looks like from the front door.

Juan was a great server, unbelievable!!!! Amazing experience. House ceviche and guacamole were 10/10, we also loved the shrimp tacos. Drinks were phenomenal.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience thanks to our gracious server, Ivan, and the chef. From a table right on the beach but protected from wind, to the whole fish " catch of the day" deliciousness. We shared the perfectly grilled red snapper among 5 of us. We also had guacamole made at our table ( of course) and a few side dishes to complement the fish. Unexpectedly good and fresh was a beet salad along with homemade small tortillas. Our adult beverages also stood up to the fish- strong with fresh fruit and citruses enhancing both gin and vodka drinks.

We had just arrived from the US and so this leisurely ( thank you Ivan for letting us close down the restaurant) start to a vacation was perfect.

We will be back.

A seafood restaurant that separates itself from the rest in Puerto Morelos.

The views are beautiful and the staff work very hard to ensure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay.

The spicy mezcalita is a great drink after a long day on the beach and is perfectly mixed with tamarind, spice, saltiness, and Smokey mezcal flavor.

The agua chile is citrusy with hints of cilantro and jalapenos and the fresh shrimp and fish.

The shrimp  empanadas are home made with pork belly, cheese, and shrimp.

Baja fish tacos are exquisite and beautifully flavored.

They have roaming musicians that come and serenade you for a couple bucks per song.

Worth the price of admission.
