This place is a gem nestled in the neighborhoods of downtown. When I first arrived I thought they may have closed early. Good thing they weren’t. The lights in the dinning area were dimmed and makes a relaxing vibe to enjoy your dinner.

I ordered a 12” green chili crust pepperoni pizza and 3 biscochitos, chocolate, cappuccino, and original. The pizza 10 out of 10. The green chili crust gives that hidden spice with the pepperoni and cheese slice. Highly recommend getting the green chili crust with whichever pizza tickles your fancy. The biscochitos are a sweet treat afterwards. I would recommend those as well.

After talking with the staff, they told me about the history of Golden Crown Panaderia. Then showed me the original oven which they still use today to bake their pastries. They also have on display in the lobby of the presses they use to make their empanadas.

I would recommend to visitors and locals to come by and check this place out.

First-time visitors, dropped by in the evening & got to interact briefly with the owner when getting our coffee (friendly, knowledgeable & appeared to be a good guy).
Staff served guests with a friendly smile & we're genuinely helpful. We ordered one of each biscochitos available, 2 empanadas (sweet potato & blueberry), Flatbread pizza (vegetarian), a loaf of freshly baked bread & tried out the drip coffee (to go with the cookies, of course!).

There was a steady flow of customers & all the tables were taken. It was a bit too chilly for outdoor seating, but the patio is spacious, well-lit for evening gatherings & great for larger groups. Areas of the patio need some maintenance (removing weeds & other growth around the tables/chairs) but otherwise simple and homey. Inside could use a deep cleaning & some improved organizing but that's personal preference.

Locals & visitors alike appear to enjoy their visit, and trying out the various food options this spot offers.

This place is absolutely fantastic. This is a weekly stop for my empanada fix, and of course a few biscochitos and wedding cookies. Their pizza is also fantastic!

Such a nice and comforting spot! Staff was friendly and food was amazing. I had the bizcochitos and guava empanada. Highly recommend eating an empanada. I had the coconut mango smoothie but it was okay, not the best one I’ve had. I’m eager to come again!

I found my favorite place!!! The staff was amazing, the pizza was amazing and the empanadas were amazing! I will be back that’s for sure! Thank you so much for bringing my childhood memories back of the baked goods I grew up on! I recommend this place and everything in it!
