It was date night for my wife and I and we wanted a good burger. We searched for a place and Boulevardier came up. It is not a hamburger joint but it has one of the best hamburgers that my wife and I ever ate. Our server Kristen was so wonderful. She really took care of us. Although we were there for hamburgers we will definitely come back to try other menu items.

I still think about these oysters often. Highly recommend. The best thing we had that night but everything else was also delicious. It was our first time so we just ate several appetizers to get a feel for the food. Will definitely be coming back. It’s a dark trendy restaurant that makes an amazing date night spot. Would make a reservation.

Update: Went back for my birthday after looking forward to it for so long. We even drove for 30 mins on a stormy night to enjoy this dinner.  WOW. What a disappointment?!

The Grilled baby octopus appetizer was so over salted that it burned! Crawfish Beignets were good but they were out of the bone marrow. The onions in French onion soup were not properly caramelized and that was not real Gruyere
Very good Mushroom Risotto but the Duck Confit was a salt bomb, served with warm, not hot, gooey, gnocchi and cold green beans. Even after returning it, the second serving was just as salty and cold
The Steak was served on a cold plate and pre cut, resulting in that nice piece of Ribeye (that we upgraded to) taste cold!

No recognition of my birthday which was on the Open Table reservation and that we told the waiter about.  The hostess admitted knowing it too. It seemed she was too busy texting on her phone all night. Oh and at no point did a manager come to the table to apologize or care!

Was this just an off night?  We'll never know as we certainly are not going back! What a shame. If only it tasted as good as it looked

The ambience and food are a bit underwhelming for the location and price point.
We got the woodgrilled oysters, egg muérete and the steak and eggs. Everything was good but nothing extraordinary that you wouldn’t find elsewhere at a better price.
The interiors and the presentation of food was lackluster.
Parking is hard to find, so plan ahead or do the valet.

Unobtrusive restaurant hidden in the heart of the Bishop of Arts District. Apart from the cuisine, the most attractive thing about this place is the excellent service and atmospheric lighting
The wood-grilled oysters were fresh and well-seasoned. NY Strips was my favorite; the steak was delicious, and the combination of fresh asparagus and mashed potatoes added to the flavor of each other
