We happened accros this lovely Swedish restaurant. Little did we know we had found the gem of the neighborhood. The food is absolutely amazing, very unique and very flavour. A family owned restaurant that makes you feel like one of their own. Very knowledgeable about the food, the culture and recommendation did not disappoint.

Bone marrow tartar was a revolutionary take on a classic dish with copious portions. Very nice wine selection too. Will be coming back to explore more of this intricate menu.

So good! We had a great lively meal at a good price. Everything is super indulgent. Great waiters. Fun music and atmosphere :) All the sharing plates were tasty, the burrata with Nduja and pistachio was a favorite. Bacon and gruyere pizza was delicious and salty! 👍 will definitely be back!

The food here is very delicious, and the flavors are great. However, I found the prices to be quite high for the portion sizes. Additionally, the waiting time was longer than expected; we waited around 30 minutes for a sharing dish, and then had to wait another 40 minutes for the main course to arrive.

On a positive note, the food is truly flavorful, and the service from most of the staff was excellent – they were friendly and helpful.

As a side note, I would recommend avoiding the chicken skin, as it was overly salty and greasy. The chicken itself also seemed as though it had been fried for too long before being served.

Overall, while the food is tasty, for the price, you can find better options elsewhere. I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Overall, a very nice dinner. All food was tasting good, was fresh and had quality. Not THE experience, but an honest deal and a great atmosphere. I loved my burrata starter with bread, and the fish was excellent. Service was very kind and there was a laidback comfy feeling. Definitely worth a try and a come back.

Had an amazing dinner at Jimmy’s — a place that feels like a hidden gem, but is surely to become more renowned. We started with a wine flight, the owner coming to our table to describe each glass to us. We ordered the oysters, marinated olives, iberico, a pizza & the schnitzel. Everything was so flavorful and presented unpretentiously. The place itself is very cute and the ambiance was lively. It’s also located in a really cool/fun part of Oslo. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re here and recommend you do the same.

I would like to take the opportunity to say that I am utterly disappointed, and I urge anyone who fancy visiting to stay away, unless you are prepared to be treated like rubbish.

My friend and I decided on a drop-in for a drink and something to eat. This being Saturday evening around 18.30.

I appreciate it being busy but we were given a table. After only three minutes we were given a bottle of water and two sets of menus. Good start we were thinking👍🏼

Then it went rapidly downhill from there. After another two minutes leafing through the menu discussing what to choose, the head waiter came over and told us that another two people just dropped in for drinks and a bite, and that the table we had been offered all of a sudden was given to them?! [the clue phrase here is "drop-in" right?]

So our drop-in resulted in us being bumped to another table in the corner, among other clients jackets, and piled up outdoor furniture. To add to the disappointment, the "table" he wanted to bump us to was behind the door to the toilet and can only be described as chairs in a waiting area for clients queuing to get to the toilet.

Needless to say we stood up and walked out. Truly disappointed by the lack of service. Before Saturday we were excited to go there for a relaxed evening.

Now? Well, we'll never set foot there again.

Ubemannet da vi var det. Litt for mange gjester ønsket å få med seg kanskje den siste solen ute hos Bukken vinbar. Men servitørene var veldig imøtekommende og behjelpelige.
Maten var helt utsøkt og det var absolutt verdt ventingen. Vi hadde fire retter på deling på to personer - det holdt egentlig med 3. Rettene er kanskje ment som snacks - men vi kommer gjerne igjen på middag for å teste de de andre rettene!
Vi drakk ikke vin på denne vinbaren.. men det skal også testes.

Unmanned when we were. A little too many guests wanted to catch perhaps the last sun outside at Bukken wine bar. But the waiters were very welcoming and helpful.
The food was absolutely delicious and it was definitely worth the wait. We had four dishes to share between two people - it was really enough for 3. The dishes are perhaps intended as snacks - but we would love to come again for dinner to test the other dishes!
We didn't drink wine at this wine bar.. but it will also be tested.
