I've been here over 5 times and have sampled almost everything on the menu. Unfortunately, this restaurant isn't what it used to be and quality has significantly declined over the past 3 years.

I used to absolutely love the fresh pizzas and pastas here. My first two visits blew me away. Then I noticed the pizzas started tasting a bit less fresh. On my most recent visit, the margherita pizza was completely soggy, came with 3 small pieces of basil, and tasted pre-frozen.

They have also removed the complimentary bread and EVOO that they used to serve in the beginning.

I'm not sure if management has changed or if they're cutting costs by skimping on cheaper ingredients now, but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant anymore.

I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Vina Enoteca.  Some of the best pizza I have had in the United States.  The wood fire oven lends the pizzas a really lovely flavor.  I am not entirely certain what wood is used to but it added a depth of flavor and complexity to the pizza which was unique.  What is magical is that they use simple, fresh ingredients and create traditional, standard dishes that taste complex and unique.

I adored their Funghi pizza, while my teens adored their Margherita and Spaghetti Bolognese.  Simple dishes, which nonetheless are often made carelessly by many restaurants, but which were well-balanced, had depth and a complexity of flavor which was surprising.

The service was excellent and the interior of the restaurant was spotless and the classic feel of the rustic barn was relaxing and tasteful.  It would be a fantastic place for a romantic evening but still relaxed and comfortable enough to take your family and friends. I highly reccomend it!

The restaurant has a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Overall, the food is pretty good. I particularly enjoyed the mushroom pizza, with its perfectly crispy crust and fresh, flavorful mushrooms. The carpaccio was also excellent, featuring a well-balanced flavor with arugula, capers, a touch of cheese, and egg yolk. However, I wouldn't recommend the grilled octopus (Polipo d'Estate); despite the tasty sauce, the octopus itself was mediocre and had a rubbery texture, likely from being frozen too long. Overall, it's a pretty good place.

We visited Viva Enoteca for dinner. The place looks nice, with a cozy inside and a good patio area that has a bit of a Napa feel. The service was friendly and helpful.

The food, though, was not as good as we hoped. We had a salad, mushroom soup, pizza, salmon, and a bottle of rose wine. The pizza dough was good, but the tomato sauce tasted a bit vinegary, and the toppings didn’t really go together. The salmon was bland, a little dry, and served cold, so it didn’t seem like their specialty. The only rose wine option was also just average.

Overall, it’s a nice spot for a casual business dinner, but with so many good options around, they could improve their food to stand out.

Vi beställde alla olika rätterna och var alla ganska besvikna. Jag beställde den bläckfisk Alla Grilla - mycket besviken. Vi hade några tvivel om det sätt de bläckfisk var rengjort/serveras. Jag har aldrig haft bläckfisk där klart skelettet var ändå inne varje enskild bläckfisk. Om du gillar bönor finns det gott om dem. Jag hade även margherita pizza - skorpan var mycket trevliga men det finns ingen smak till det. Jag såg inte en uns av basilika alls. Min vän beställde den Insalata Estate och begärde det med ingen quinoa. Den server tagit den med quinoa. Hon skickat det tillbaka och tog med tillbaka en med ingen quinoa. Vi fick betala för båda trots att hon bara fick den med ingen quinoa. En annan vän beställde den omöjligt hamburgare - var intetsägande och torrt. Den server serveras maten väldigt sporadiskt. Min kompis hade linguini med musslor som var helt OK. Vi skulle inte beställa den igen. De har ett trevligt urval av italienska viner och cocktails. Jag vet inte hur Woodside Winery fick ett vin på menyn. De förmodligen investerat i restaurangen. Jag skulle undvik att vin och välja en av de italienska val om du gillar rött.

Servicen var utmärkt. Vår server, Levent, var en pro och alla från värdinnan till somalier var kundservice orienterat. Vi hade en fantastisk middag och kommer definitivt återvända igen.

I chic, avslappnade atmosfär, den mycket nya Vina erbjuder det bästa modern italiensk mat i Bay Area - - bättre än San Franciscos Delfina.
