You must buy a drink before you can reach the top. First, they’ll take you to a middle floor where you’re required to purchase something. Once you’ve done that, you can request access to the top.

On the middle floor, the cheapest option is a basic orange juice for 1,000 baht, while cocktails go for about 1,500 baht.

The view at the top is nice, but at these prices, I’d choose another Bangkok sky bar. It would be more reasonable if you could enjoy your first drink upstairs, but paying for something on the middle floor with its mediocre view just isn’t worth it.

I visited The Dome at Lebua in Bangkok with two friends, which is famous for being the filming location of The Hangover. That said, we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. However, we had an unpleasant experience with the staff. There are two bars at the venue: one serves champagne and the other cocktails. We were immediately directed to the champagne bar, where the waiter acted as if that was the only option, even though we were there for cocktails. A glass of champagne costs €60, which is extremely expensive for Thailand.

We then moved to the cocktail bar, where we paid €40 per cocktail—again, a very high price. Unfortunately, the cocktails were far from enjoyable. On the plus side, the view was stunning.

I googled coolest Rooftop bat/restaurant and this was one of the options and I was not disappointed.

The service was 7 star level. They pull your seat up when you get up,l escort you to the bathroom wait for you and do the same back to your seat.

The decor was excellent and ambience especially at night was unbeatable.

We order the glass of champagne (way too much) and got the chef's tasting menu. The food was well plated and very exquisite.

If you are looking for Instagram  worthy places to go this is the place. They even have people walking around if you wan the them to use your phone/camera to take photos for you.

All this being said, nothing good comes at a low cost. The bill came out to about 21,000 Thai baht at the time about $600 usd for two people.

The high end for Thailand sure but in Miami(Where I live) something like this would be easily be doubled if not tripled.

Love this hotel and we've been back on a few occasions. Staff are absolutely Amazing.

Rooms are really Lovely and love staying here.

On our last visit we found some mold in the shower, which we had to ask to be cleaned but otherwise a fantastic place to stay at the perfect location.

Vela Dhi Glow has the best breakfast spread.

Love this hotel.

My mom and I stayed in this hotel; and although my mother cannot speak English, they were still helpful. The services were very good, and the staff was very helpful. The rooms are big enough and pretty clean. Location is amazing, at the heart of Bangkok. Strongly suggested place!

Incredible Hospitality - Went Above and Beyond

Although we didn’t end up staying at VELA Dhi GLOW , we were so grateful for the help we received during a stressful situation. After arriving in Bangkok late at night (around 11 PM) and struggling to find a hotel in the Pratunam area, we decided to check at  VELA Dhi GLOW hoping for availability.

A staff member, probably a bellboy named Tom, noticed our panic and immediately stepped in to help. He made us feel incredibly welcome, taking us up to the hotel and offering his assistance despite the circumstances. His kindness made all the difference in an otherwise stressful moment.

Then, the receptionist, Charter, went above and beyond by letting us use the hotel’s landline and even personally called around to other hotels in the area he was familiar with to help us find a place to stay. Thanks to them, we were able to find a hotel after all. They truly were our saviors that night, showing us hospitality that went way beyond what we could have expected.

While we didn’t stay here, we’ll always remember the kindness and professionalism of Tom and Charter. If you’re looking for great service, I have no doubt this hotel will take care of you

Walking distance to platinum (you have to take the overpass though since it's across the street. Hotel is on the 7th floor, ground floor has Starbucks, McDonald's and small clothing shops.

If you're too tired to go out for massage, you can also just go at the lobby of the hotel. Price is reasonable enough for the convenience it provides.

Room is spacious, provides 4 bottles of drinking water every day. You can also request for firm pillows.

Rooms seemed fine however did not have proper windows; a bit of a nitpick but room was gloomier during the day due to an odd design choice of having a translucent vinyl over the clear glass with some circles cut out. Staff were mainly polite but some requests through the front desk did not go through. Gym is small but usable, likewise for the pool. Otherwise, if you are easygoing and dont ask for much, the location is pretty great.
