What an unforgettable experience at Anantara.
We spent 4 nights and 4 days here and it was definitely an experience that lived up to the hype. The staff ensures that you receive a truly personalized experience, and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome- making sure to remember your names and greeting you. Our villa host, Ting Ting, really looked after us and made sure we felt comfortable and all our needs were met.  The rooms are incredible, on top of the lagoon view (we stayed in an over water villa), and the food/ dining experience is also delightful. Although the resort was 80 percent booked when we went, we enjoyed a lot of privacy and hardly saw the other guests unless it was meal time.  Snorkeling at the reef was a delightful experience and we saw plenty of sea creatures. Highly recommend trying out each of the restaurants while you are there. The island itself was beautiful and we enjoyed biking around, visiting the Herb and Orchid Garden, as well as enjoying the recreation center.  Highly recommend for anyone seeking a truly memorable, luxurious, once- in- a- lifetime experience.

We had an absolutely fabulous week at the Anantara. The rooms and location were stunning, our host (Zidhan) was great - we couldn’t have asked for better service - and the food, particularly the gala dinner on New Year’s Eve (overseen by the Executive Chef, Joachim Textor), was out of this world. This was our first trip to the Maldives but we certainly plan to return after such a fantastic experience.

My stay at Kihavah was a truly precious experience and a source of deep relaxation.

The beautiful blue sea with its gentle waves, whether diving into the ocean or simply gazing at it from the room, always provided a soothing presence.

Moreover, every staff member remembered guest preferences, and their hospitality and cheerful personalities made it feel like visiting old friends.

Our villa host was a woman named Arlene.

Her thoughtful hospitality and kindness made for a valuable experience during our short stay.

I had the opportunity to participate in temporary events like talks from astronauts and stargazing.

When I visit a resort, I usually go to the spa every day, but this time, I could only go once.

However, Arlene delicately and assuredly understood my requests, allowing me to experience a very intriguing healing session called Access Bar Healing.

The food was also delicious, and I was impressed by the meticulous care and talent of the executive chef in providing tasty beautiful dishes.

I definitely want to visit this resort again.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we had the most amazing time! The resort was so beautiful, surrounded by clear blue water, clean beach, and plenty of wild life which made for amazing snorkeling. We stayed in an overwater villa and it was the nicest place we have ever stayed in. They had a team of staffs greet us when we first arrived to the island, including the general manager who knew us on a first name basis. They gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room for our honeymoon celebration. All of the staffs were so friendly, helpful, always had a smile on their face and would always greet us whenever we walked by.  They had several restaurants on the island and the food was delicious. We had lunch at the underwater restaurant and oh my god, literally one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever seen. The service was exceptional from the time our plane landed on Male to the time we left Male. They had a staff there to meet us to guide us through the airport and to help us board our sea plane and same went for the trip back. Everything was phenomenal and we had the most wonderful honeymoon. The Maldives is a literal paradise on Earth and the staffs here just made the experience even better. It truly deserve its 5 star rating. I highly recommend Anantara Kihavah!

The trip was very memorable - from the staff , to the food, to the activities. Everything is worth mentioning

We were welcomed warmly by the manager and his team and were explained everything in detail. All questioned were answered without any hesitation.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating to all our requests. Our host Zidhan did an amazing job to make sure everything was thought of beforehand; from the kids food, to the itinerary of the activities, to the extra requests- all was taken care of within minutes .
The resort staff all were extremely friendly and considerate of the fact that I had severe allergies and took excessive precautions.. from the chefs, to the waiters to all the staff serving - which I am truly grateful for.

The resort catered to my special request thoroughly of my allergies beyond my expectations. They even have an in house clinic which is well equipped  , a doctor and nurse which alleviated my concerns tremendously.

The food was very tasty and worth mentioning about in all the restaurants- the best experience was obviously having a meal in the underwater restaurant. We ended up seeing turtles and sharks which we had previously missed on our dive the previous day.

The water sports such as Deep sea line fishing and jetsking , as well as dolphin watching and turtle snorkelling were all memorable in their own ways..

The rooms and large and spacious and have a lovely view in the bathroom. Would describe recommend it.

All rounder I would definitely recommend the resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable time and monies worth the while.
