Went here for breakfast, and it was a really nice experience. I was afraid that it would be very touristy because of its location, but it felt completely authentic, and I was the only foreigner there. You pay before eating, which is quite common across South Korea.

The staff there were very friendly and nice and even brought me soup and rice refill, which I wasn't expecting. The portion itself is big and affordable

This is the soul food of Koreans. The soup and kimchi is simply classic.  It is not spicy so the kids can enjoy as well.  You can ask to pour extra kakduki sauce in the soup and make a bit more balanced and spice up.

Must try! Simple beef soup with rice. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations, you can simply walk in and wait is fairly reasonable (15-20min don’t get scared by the huge line up outside the restaurant, as the line moves faster than airline checkin)

Soup is decent, not the greatest. Ordered large portion but I guess kids can easily clear up. Most adults would wonder where is my main dish; it's kinda appetizer portion.

Saw it was a Michelin restaurant and went to try, but what a disappointment. It taste even like the package gomtang from the supermarket. Nothing special and overpriced. Basically the whole restaurant just serve this one item in different sizes. There are so many better choices around the area, no need to come here.
