Of course, Michelin awarded a korean beef soup place. Highly recommended, and their kimchi is not too spicy and delicious. They also give you green onion kimchi. Solrungtang is a Korean soul food made out of beef and bones broth. The ancient historical intended is to feed commoners who do not have access daily meat or protein.

My highschool buddy took me out to dinner to this restaurant because it is his favorite Seolleongtang restaurant.
This restaurant has been opened since 1949 and Michelin Guide Seoul restaurant since 2018.
We orderded Yangji Seolleongtang and it is pricey since this soup is made of 100% Korean beef.  The server brought out two diffrent types of kimches immediately and we requested one green onion kimch and one more fermented kimch as well.  The kimches are not top notch compares to the quality of the soup.  Seolleongtang was served in a bowl of Ttukbaegi with chopped green onion. The soup comes with meat, rice and noodles.  The broth is clear and it has deep distinct flovors in a good way. The meat is very tender and tasty.  I did not add salt and enjoyed the taste of the soup to the very last drop.  I highly recommend this restaurant if you like to try authentic Seolleongtang and don't mind the price. Cheers!

I’m a major fan of seolleongtang and always seek out a new place to try when I’m in Seoul.

This was love at first bite.

The brisket was insanely tender with the right proportions of meat and fat. The broth was clean and clear, and was an excellent canvas to personalize my flavors.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, although I didn’t speak any Korean. I was the only foreigner in the packed restaurant at around 8am.

Definitely coming back.

7 hour layover in Seoul. What to do. It's 6am. Quick Google search and we find this - that opens at 9 - so we head down 1.5 hrs.
Seems that Michelin really likes the place. I guess you have to like Korean beef noodles to know what's good and not. Ours didn't have much flavor.

Our waitress and I couldn't communicate which impacted the experience negatively. But she was very nice and certainly tried.
Clean, simple place. Nothing special.
