Excellent Michelin star meal in this family owned hotel in Isola d’Asti Piémont.
Also a very comfortable room, beautiful location with a large welcoming pool. The owners as well as Helena the waitress were lovely. We shall come back!! Thank you

Loved it. Had the multi-course chef’s surprise menu and Roberto, who runs the front of house, suggested some nice wines to go along with our meal. We’ll be back for sure.

Some months ago I made a reservation through the via michelin/the fork website for lunch. I received the confirmation emails and even in the morning of our reservation I received a confirmation email. I was looking forward to an amazing lunch. When we arrived there, the parking lot was empty and the restaurant was closed… as the gentleman who opened the door told us. He clearly recognized my name and said he told the fork they were closed. This was a let down. Even more when back home I saw in my email I received an cancellation email from the fork… sent 1 minute before our actual reservation time when we were actually just walking back from the restart door to our car! I have come to expect a lot from Michelin starred restaurants in both their hospitality and their service to guests… this has been the biggest disappointment so far. So if you book online, please call the restaurant as well. They will clearly not contact you.

A friendly place,  if a bit holiday inn in vibe,  but rooms are clean and warm.  The restaurant is excellent,  great food and service. Had a better time than piazza duomo. Great wine list at cheap prices,  their Gaja barbaresco was cheaper than duty free at the airport!
