Wonderful!
We had a wonderful first dinner in Firenze at this terrific restaurant, and we liked it so much that we came back here again with our friends when they arrived a couple of days later.  The food is excellent - we loved the burrata, pizza, salad and pasta.  The prices are very reasonable and the service is friendly and efficient.  We weren't too excited by the wine though - the EUR25 wine tasted like average house wine.

My wife and I really enjoyed this place. A local department store worker recommended it to us and it turned out to be excellent. Unlike some of the restaurants in Florence that primarily cater to tourists, the majority of diners here were locals. The vibe was great, as was the food.

Lines start forming about 30 mins before they open for dinner but once seated, the service is very fast and the food is served quickly.

The arugula salad and the pizzas were excellent and the servers were friendly, easy going, and helpful. Because it's a 20 minute walk from the downtown area, the prices are lower too.

You got to eat here!! Stop what you're doing and come and try THE BEST PIZZA IN FLORENCE. Thank you to Maddalena for the best service, and thank you to the entire staff for the best meal we had in Firenze so far. This is authentic Napolitano pizza. The best in the world in my opinion. Don't hesitate to try this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

We had our first meal at il Pizzaiuolo at Florence and we were so impressed with the food and the quality of food. The pizzas and pastas were wonderful. Service was fast. The staff were friendly and attentive and were very prompt in their service. They even gave us a complimentary pizza! We enjoyed it so much that we had it as our last meal before leaving Florence. Good job to the staff!

The pizza and pasta were super tasty, the prices were fair, and the service was great. It was pretty crowded, so we had to wait about 30 minutes, but it was totally worth it. If you’re in Florence and want some amazing pizza, definitely check this place out!
