We have found our new Popeyes! I adore Popeye's chicken strips. These have always been a favorite of my husband and myself since we had them 20 years ago on our first date. We used patronize the one at the corner of 75th and Cass in Darien, IL but sadly several years ago the place started to slide down hill (all the tables had food on them, trash cans overflowing, angry cashiers) and we hadn't been back since. Today on a whim we stopped at this in Countryside and SURPRISE it was spacious and the staff were friendly, as if they were happy to be at work. The only thing holding them back from 5 stars was the cleanliness of the tables. Those pesky little crunches from their batter were on all the tables. Good news is we will be back and maybe there will be an "upgrade" in their future.

Had to walk to the drive through in my bare feet ages k-12 surrounded me. Then, I see a worker on his phone not doing anything while I tirelessly wait for my Popeyes chicken hot sandwhich. My sandwhich came out lukewarm and pink. I had to regurgitate it immediately after consuming said meal. Only reason I put this as 2 stars and not 1 star was because of the lady who took my order whom was very nice. Thank you.

I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE A ZERO IF I COULD THIS PLACE has gone down hill so bad. I live in the city and drive all the way over here it used to be the best Popeyes. NOWWWWW it's horrible. I've never had to wait 30 mins in a drive thru. Just to go in there and see them laughing and messing around. I ask for my meal. One guy told the cashier to tell me to wait 5 MORE MINS , IM BEYOND LIVID! Don't waste your time coming to this place guys. The service is horrible. TRUST ME. Literally waited by an overflowing dumpster in the drive through for 40 mins just to walk in there and them barely make the food. The restaurant isn't even clean. It's not presentable!!!!! Don't GOOO THERE. I'll never NEVERRRR be back here again!

The food is good, typical Popeye's. But the service is terrible. Drive through takes forever. Going in isn't much better. Also, they are always out of bacon for some reason. If you're always out of bacon, either order more or take it off the menu. The only reason I still go here is because there isn't another one near me

This place is a joke. -Incoming Long review. I've found a convenience for ordering through the mobile app to ensure the other is started ahead of time for a fast and easier pickup process. Well guys that was not the case just now. And what is even worse is a just seen another review from an hour ago that was a bad review as well. I placed my order on 3/8/25 at 6:31pm. I arrived through drive thru at 6:47pm(16minutes later) there were some cars in front which gave them an additional 4 minutes before I arrived at the window. At 6:51 a tall skinny male told the woman working drive thru to have me pull to the front(two cars in front had gotten their order and was not an online order). I pulled forward. It's now 7:02. I called them to let someone know I was still waiting and the person explained they're still waiting for spicy, asked if I wanted mild and I declined. This is when they told me 4 more minutes and someone will be out with the order. It's now 7:10. No one came!. I started to call back when the same tall skinny male came out and brought the food. Despite the long wait, I was still pleasant and thanked him and told him to have a good day. Which he only said "welcome" in a muttering voice. Before pulling off something told me to check my meal. (My bad for not doing a thorough check until I got home) I noticed I was missing 2 pies. So as i go inside and walk to the front counter that same tall skinny male looked at me directly in eyes, sighed and rolled his eyes, and had another worker speak to me and gave me the pies. Only to now he home at 7:40pm to notice I'm missing 3 biscuits and a side. Which they only gave me 2 of the same sides that were not apart of the order. If you're still here great, if you skipped till the end. DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT! That one person ruined the experience for me. Not only that but to have poor customer service, and to miss food items that are PAID for is honestly unacceptable. I will be calling corporate because this is the second time something has happened and that is more than enough for me. I will not come back to this place at all. Seems like Popeyes only hire people with attitude nowadays.

wasn't even busy tried ordering a 12Pc family meal and they told me the wait was 30 mins. After already expecting out order telling us other people took it. Place gets worse and worse everytime

I didn't like the chicken, had no flavor and it was kind of undercooked, I stopped eating it and didn't finish my food, the place was so dirty and the restroom was disgusting, if the restaurant was so filthy, can you imagine the kitchen and how they cook the food you eat I'm still thinking if I should report it to Dept of health, one thing I know for sure, I will never visit this place again.

I ordered boneless chicken wings because they did not have bone-in wings. i was given chicken nuggets that did not have the traditional Popeyes breading and they were cold...very disappointed. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich, which was burnt. Will never go here again.
