Aman has become our favorite brand, and we had the best experience in Aman New York. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and artfully decorated, with modern technologies to make it comfortable and convenient. The location is so convenient with 5th Ave shopping and restaurants and Central Park all within a minute or two minutes walk. We enjoyed having breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the patio at the main restaurant with beautiful views. The Japanese restaurant there has some interesting options too. The best part of our stay has to be the staff. Everyone at the hotel was so pleasant and courteous. They always go above and beyond with everything we requested. We truly felt like home when we were there. I think how this hotel train their staff should be included in the text book of hotel management. I used to think hotels in the US should send their staff to study customer services in Japan, but now I think they can just learn from the Aman New York, no need to travel to Japan.

Magical hotel. Any overwhelm from the city/travel melts away once you walk in. Our room was stunning and I loved spending pockets of my day/evening at the lounge bar to meet a friend, work or just pause to decompress. Every connection I had with the staff was lovely. Don’t skip the jazz bar, you won’t regret it. Get the truffle grilled cheese. I could write another review about the truffle grilled cheese.

Hotel feels like a sanctuary reprieve from the busy city.  Highly highly recommend for a stay in NYC.

Immaculate hotel, attention to every small detail is impressive.  Rooms are 10/10 from design to technology to bathrooms/products to beds (duxiana). Complimentary minibar has great offerings and their signature Aman cocktails.

Restaurant (Arva) exceeded my expectations for lunch/dinner.  Breakfast was also 11/10, one of the best and included with your stay.

Service is excellent, as would be expected at an Aman.

Spa was amazing.  Pool is a sanctuary, ambiance/lighting/sound just relaxes you instantly.  Really amazing.

They have spa rooms which have massive hammams and saunas but you have to rent those by the hour.  The sauna/steam in the locker room is nice, but doesn’t match the grandeur of the rest of the spa/hotel.  This is the only thing I wish they had as part of the daily spa use (I like to do a quick 20-30 minutes in steam/sauna daily but wouldn’t spend hours in there).  I won’t hold it against them since everything else was 10/10.

The spa is otherwise amazing and the massage treatment I had was one of the best ever, and I’ve had thousands over the years…

Hotel manager Guia is also a gem.  She clearly has a genuine care for her guests, which I could feel in my interaction with her.

We plan to return for many years to come for our NYC stays.

Staying at Aman is pure relaxation from start to finish. The ambiance was serene, and the design of the hotel made it feel like a true escape from the city. The pool area is stunning, and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to come back!!
