Excellent Italian restaurant.  It was unusually slow for a Friday evening, but it was just after the UN Assembly had just finished this week so maybe everyone was avoiding the area.  The service was excellent and will definite go again just because the staff are a joy to be with.  The food was great and the portions are large.  Every dish was wonderful.  Definitely wanted to order a lot more. If you are looking for a quiet atmosphere, superb dishes and friendly fun at home environment, this is a great pick.  Just look at the veal chops!

Angeletto is a true gem! I recently had the pleasure of trying their black pasta, and it was incredibly delicious. The flavors and texture were spot on. I also highly recommend the calamari and tiramisu - both were standouts.

What an amazing restaurant. They make you feel at home. The food is very fresh and tasty. On Saturday nights from 7:30pm to 10:00pm they have opera singers performing while you dine. Just stupendous. We can't wait to go back.

Tasty!!! WENT BACK AGAIN ON 6-12-2022 AND EVEN BETTER THAN BEFORE.
HAD THE BUCCATINI PASTA WITH RED SAUCE WHICH WAS DIVINE.
DESERTS WERE ALL AWESOME, TARAFUTO AGAIN WAS GREAT, PANNA COTTA AND CHOCOLATE SOUFLE.  SHE HAD BURRATA APP WHICH SHE LOVED.  GREAT SERVICE, GREAT TIME.  LOVE IT AND WILL RETURN OFTEN!!!!   Everything was truly awesome here.  We loved the pastas and the super duper apps.  Be sure and get the pear dessert stuffed with ricotta cheese and the tarafuto.  For pasta we loved the bucatini with San Marzano sauce and the rigatoni alla gricia.  All of it was awesome.  She had the Moscato and loved it. Jag besökte med en grupp på en långsam söndag eftermiddag. Maten var underbar men tjänsten lämnade lite att önska. De var mycket långsamma och icke-verbala. Jag förstår och uppskattar en ostörd avslappnad måltid, men du borde behöva vänta länge på allt och fråga mer än en gång för checken. Jag litar på att det var bara en ledig dag för personalen, men med tävlingen i NYC kan du inte riskera att förlora potentiell avkastning.

Jag bor i NYC och förstår att för en god middag måste du ibland tillbringa lite extra. Denna restaurang var en komplett rip off. Här är kulpunkten.

 - tog 15 minuter för någon att ens komma och säga hej vid vårt bord.

Började med en gratis olivolja bruschetta, och beställde sedan nötkött carpaccio, spaghetti Aglio olio och en sida av broccoli rabe. Varje kurs var enastående. Vad jag älskade mest var personalen och atmosfären. Personalen var underbar och uppmärksam, men stämningen var perfekt. Vi har haft ett underbart bord nära fönstret och vi kunde faktiskt sitta med vänner för att njuta av middag och konversation. Så ofta går vi till restauranger och ljudnivån i restaurangen är så högt att du inte kan fortsätta en konversation utan att skrika, inte på Angelettos, det var så roligt. Jag rekommenderar starkt Angeletto.

Från det ögonblick vi gick in från den vinteriga 2: a avenyn. vind, vi var varmt hälsade och behandlade som kungligheter. Den bästa servicen jag har haft i år! ! ! Och sedan på menyn! UTAN underbar. Färsk sallad och hade Dover Sole special som smälte i min mun! Så full av smak. Sedan öken - Tiramisu säkert - helt enkelt det bästa jag någonsin har haft! Denna erfarenhet från början till slut var en höjdpunkt i min senaste resa till NYC! !

Fyra av oss besökte nyligen Angelettos restaurang på 890 2: a Avenue i New York den 2/1/19. Strax från början blev vi varmt välkomna av kappskötaren som omedelbart träffade oss vid ytterdörren. Vi leddes sedan till vårt bord av medförvaltaren och lämnade en meny och en vinlista. Kanske inte ovanligt för en restaurang i New York, förutom den varma och äkta välkomna känslan som förmedlas. De fyra av oss beställde en aptitretare av ett sortiment av pasta. Snarare än att tillåta oss att gå vidare med en för stor aptitretare inblandade chefen och föreslog att vi gick med mindre eftersom vi troligen skulle döda vår aptit för huvudmåltiden. Vi alla beställde hus specialerbjudanden. Måltiderna var utmärkt. I slutet av kvällen erbjöd medförvaltaren Babu (sp?) Oss husgjord limoncello "på huset". Det var ett utmärkt slut på en utmärkt middagsupplevelse. Vi rekommenderar starkt denna New York middagsupplevelse.

Det är ett nytt tillägg till grannskapet: Jag kontrollerade det snabbt snart det öppnades och jag gillade det mycket. För några nätter sedan bestämde jag mig för att återkomma, för att se till att mitt första intryck var rätt. Och jag fann det ännu bättre, om möjligt. Den italienska kocken Davide är fantastisk: bakad lax, räkor i brandyssås med körsbärstomater och cannellini, spaguetti alio olio, branzino i saltskorpa, allt gott och gott, omfattande vinlista med huset Prosecco är Mionnetto, utmärkt val och pris höger. Uppmärksam och vänlig service. Jag hoppas bara att de gör något på utsidan borden, de dansar utan stopp.

Jag gick på en sen söndagskväll och letade efter en plats att äta min sista måltid i NY! Vilken överraskning! Uppmärksamheten, otrolig, maten fantastiska och de bästa kosmopoliterna och service från Gino!

Denna underbara restaurang var en pärla av en hitta som min fru och jag ville ha en fantastis italiensk middag och vi gillade recensioner på öppna bordet. Stilig interiör. Vår servitör, Gente, var fantastisk! Hembakat pasta var devine! Prova den italienska korvspagetti med citronsås, du kommer inte att tro hur gott det här är. Och Limoncello Shots var ett perfekt sätt att avsluta denna fantastiska middagsupplevelse! Som man brukar säga. . . "Prova det, du kommer att älska det!"

Vilken underbar restaurang. Hade lunch där för några dagar sedan och kunde inte bli mer imponerad av detta nya tillskott till UES. Tjänsten från början till slut var felfri, och maten är väl förberedd och läcker. Om du är ett fan av öknar måste du prova Tiramisu - - en unik och underbar tolkning som inte är för söt, men helt tillfredsställande. Rekommenderas starkt.
