Recommended by a friend before we arrived and didn’t disappoint.
Busy when we arrived but got a seat within 20 minutes and then service was rapid (food arrived within 5 minutes of sitting down)
Pancakes were tasty and filling, coffee was strong and mimosas were delicious.
Quite expensive for the meal at $120 including tip, more than I would have liked to have paid, but worth it for the experience once.

The restaurant is definitely super hyped, as you can tell from the long line outside. A reservation is absolutely necessary, as it significantly cuts down your waiting time to just 10–15 minutes. Without one, be prepared to stand in line for quite a while, as the place is incredibly busy. Inside, it’s packed and bustling with energy, which adds to the vibrant atmosphere but can feel overwhelming if you prefer quieter dining experiences. For the Food you just wait 2-5min of u Are sitting on your table.

The pancakes are good—fluffy and served with a generous portion of fresh fruit—but they’re not extraordinary or particularly unique. It’s clear that the hype has elevated expectations, which the food doesn’t entirely meet. While the quality is solid, the pancakes don’t offer anything groundbreaking in flavor or presentation. Three pancakes with a nice serving of fruit come in at $26, which feels a bit steep for what you’re getting.

However, I highly recommend trying the Buttermilk Balls for $8. These were a standout item—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and bursting with rich buttermilk flavor. They’re smaller, shareable bites that pack a lot of taste and made a stronger impression than the pancakes.

The service was attentive despite how busy it was, which speaks to the professionalism of the staff. The ambiance, while lively, might not be ideal for a leisurely breakfast or brunch if you prefer a more relaxed setting. Overall, it’s a good restaurant with decent food, but it’s not worth the hype if you’re expecting a life-changing dining experience. I’d say it’s worth visiting once, especially for the Buttermilk Balls, but manage your expectations and prepare for the price tag.

I went to Bubby’s for the first time this weekend and I can’t wait to go back! It was about a 50-minute wait from the end of the line until we were seated. The menu is so extensive and exciting. I could have ordered anything and been so happy!
I ended up going with one of their homemade sodas (lemon lime), a veggie burger with fries and James Beard pancakes for the table. Everything was excellent, including the service during a busy Saturday brunch. I can’t wait to go back and try more.

First time & wont be the last ! Came here with birthday girl for breakfast & the attention/service was so wonderful! The staff is so nice & attentive. They seat you right away. Our waiter was very polite & knowledgeable. We didn't even wait a long time for our food to come out. It was done in no time! This Thanksgiving, I decided to try something new and headed to Bubby’s, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The food was absolutely amazing. From the perfectly roasted turkey to the indulgent sides like creamy mashed potatoes and flavorful stuffing, every dish was crafted with care and tasted like home.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it feel like a big family gathering. And let’s not forget the desserts and the pumpkin pie was a standout, and it was the perfect way to end the meal.

Detta är den absolut bästa restaurangen! Från drycker, förrätter och desserter är det supergott! Det fyller hela dagen så försök att få bokningar! Vi blev förvånade över hur snabbt maten kom ut till oss som restaurangen var packad!

Vi kom främst hit som min dotter ville använda vintage fotomaskin - $ 7 för en remsa - som vi gjorde och hon älskade. Vi drack iste och pannkakor. Båda läckra. Särskilt goda var de glutenfria pannkakorna - de bästa jag någonsin ätit! 
Det har en härlig livlig atmosfär och är mycket upptagen och bullriga så kom inte hit om du gillar lugna restauranger!

Jag hade detta på min lista när jag besökte från Storbritannien. Jag blev inte besviken, dessa var de bästa pannkakor jag någonsin ätit. Det var en ganska stor portion, så delas med min dotter. Jag är inget fan av pannkakor, men det här har definitivt fått mig att ändra mig. Jag önskar bara att de hade en i Storbritannien.

Bra plats för pannkakor. 3 bra storlek tjocka pannkakor med ett bra val av pålägg. Hade kaffe och te som var obegränsad. Personalen var vänlig, mycket hjälpsam. Anläggningen var rent och snyggt. Boka i förväg.

Efter hypen på TikTok bestämde vi oss för att testa Bubbyy's. Jag kan ärligt säga att det här är enda gången TikTok har svikit mig. 

Vi hade en reservation för 11 . 15 och anlände några minuter innan. Värden informerade oss om att köket för närvarande var stängt på grund av en inspektion och att vi kunde antingen arrangera om eller avbryta bokningen. Vi uppskattar att inspektioner kan komma utan förvarning, men det fanns ingen ursäkt. Vi bestämde oss för att ta en kaffe bredvid och återvända och timme senare. . . Så här i efterhand borde vi inte ha brytt oss. 

Vi återvände och satt, servicen började okej och servitris verkade vänlig nog men servicen började sakta ner. Pannkakor var den övre sidan av genomsnittet och mycket torr och jag ifrågasätter om en hund skulle ha ätit kalkonen som kom i tjTB smörgåsen. 

Vi lämnade mycket besviken och även om vi kände att ett tips inte förtjänades, uppskattar drickskulturen och gjorde faktiskt dricks, men inte på hela 20 % som vår server var mest otacksam för och misslyckades med att tacka oss, säga adjö eller ens vet vår existens efter det. 

Jag är säker på att andra har haft en bra upplevelse där men för oss finns det mycket bättre platser med kundservice.

Det var värt 30 minuters kö för ett bord. Vi båda njöt verkligen av vår mat, portionerna är mycket generösa och allas mat runt omkring oss såg god ut. Servicen var bra. Det var lite trångt/högt är min enda kritik. Fotobåset i källaren är ett bra komplement.

Mycket oförskämd värdinna. Bad mig kliva innanför kön när jag knappt blockerade sidled. När jag sa att jag inte vill medan en person i mitt parti redan var inne sa hon att jag inte kommer att sitta. Jag är inte här för att be om att få sitta här. Vem är hon att kontrollera om jag äter här eller inte. Hemsk Service. Maten är bra, men Servicen är hemsk, och jag betalar hellre kockarna mer än den hemska värdinnan. Hon fick restaurangen att förlora en stor fest och bara för det borde hon få sparken. Aldrig gå dit igen

Vi gick till Bubbys efter att ha sett videor på TikTok av pannkaksflotten. Jag är inte en stor pannkaka fan så valde Abraham Lincoln frukost som var tillräckligt för mig. Min partner har pannkaksfloat och hon älskade det

Andra gången på Bubbys för frukost. Maten är helt utsökt, pannkakorna är de bästa! Vi satt snabbt och vår server var vänlig och effektiv. Enda nackdelen är att det är lite dyrt. Älskar känslan här.

Älskar Bubby's! Vi firade vår årsdag idag och valde Bubby's baserat på alla fina recensioner vi har sett! SÅ glad vi blev! Älskar denna plats! Det är inbjudande med en avslappnad atmosfär. Personalen var uppmärksam och vänlig. Vi delade en Mac & ost, kyckling & våfflor! 
Utsökt! Det smakade som en varm kram denna kyliga dag! Vi avslutade med en cheesecake & brownie sundae med glass!

Om du vill ha en Disney - fied erfarenhet av Southern diner matlagning, kan detta vara platsen för dig - - det var inte för mig. Överfulla, extremt bullriga, linjer som skiftar till andra linjer, ouppmärksam och stressad service. Förståeligt om maten var allt den verkar vara. - Nej. Räkor & gryn bar bara en övergående likhet med den äkta varan: 4 räkor och knappt någon (typ av vattnig) gryn, en hel massa kragningar med skinka under och flera skivor av någon form av skinka - som kött ovanpå. Är det en förbättring jämfört med äkta räkor och gryn? Mina vänners måltider såg lika uppblåsta och oäkta ut. Kexen var trevliga nog men inte ett rave. Jag beställde en "vanlig" kaffe på slutet för 5 dollar, en gammal och bitter mugg. Spara dig en timmes väntan, gå till någon NYC diner (och det finns massor av dem fortfarande) för fräschare kaffe och en autentisk måltid utan hype och attityd.

För trångt, vilket alltid är ett bra tecken för en restaurang men för mig är det för mycket krångel att äta här. Om du är 27 år har du inget emot det. Maten är god men det är din typiska brunchställe som någon annanstans i USA. 

QR-kodmenyn är irriterande och du är packad i som sardiner.

Vi brukade komma hit hela tiden, och vi älskade det. Nu har det blivit en överdriven maskin. Vi väntade en timme i kö bara för att bli invigda till en andra linje inomhus. Totalt stod vi i kö längre än vår måltid eftersom vi oceremoniellt stressade med maten och checken. Checken kom, utan att fråga, innan du är klar med våra drycker med en förvald spets Toast enhet upptryckt i våra ansikten. Kvinnorna bredvid oss var tvungna att lämna tillbaka sin mat eftersom den var underkokt (både ägg och potatis) , en produkt av rusning. Denna plats var fantastisk men tyvärr har blivit en har - varit för lokalbefolkningen och ett slöseri med tid och pengar för turister. Prova Clinton Street för bättre pannkakor.
