Love in every bite. Bernardo and Pilar (she is the chef) are the most amazing duo. They treated me like I was part of the family even though it was my first visit. There is so much genuine warmth of hospitality and the love of good food. They say the menu is filled with plant options for health and reducing food waste, which is why they also do not use any processed foods. Hard to believe they make everything in their tiny space.

I’ve been going to Millenonne for a while now, even if it’s on the opposite part of town for me, but it’s my favorite Italian take out spot in the city. I love the vegan and diary free options, super yummy! I love the homemade gnocchi with pesto and the signature meatballs, so tasty and so light! The passion is all there and comes from the magic hands of chef Pilar feom Roma. Bravi!! (Also great Lasagna!)

I finally got the opportunity to try this place last night. Pickup.  They were out of stock a lot of things already at 6 PM on a Friday night, so I got an order of vegetable lasagne and turkey meatballs. A very generous portion for dinner for 2. Four meatballs, about the size of golf balls.  Not spicy. Good though. Homemade taste, like my mom would have cooked.  I enjoyed the food. Nice people. From Italy.  They were not very busy when I was there buying. $31.  I ate one of the meatballs, and this is the product in cardboard takeout boxes. Nothing leaked on the walk home, thankfully!

My new favorite Italian place! Mille Nonne is an amazing experience! Authentic, passionate, delicious Italian food cooked with healthy organic ingredients and love! The joyful and warm family vibe made it a real Italian experience. Chef Pilar gave me an extra olive turmeric cookie fresh from the oven. I also met Bernardo’s parents who seem very proud of their impact. The Turkey lasagna and gnocchi with tomato and eggplant tasted so so good that I was excited for every bite. I also feel good and nourished knowing how healthy the ingredients are - a real win for Italian food which is often a guilty pleasure heavy on body. I love the amount of love, care, creativity, humanity and nutrition that go into their food. The best!
