The atmosphere was great! Loved the old school look of the bar, it was fantastic! Ordered the Black Label Burger, medium, and it was exceptional. My friends ordered the same thing, the same way, and it was just too rare! Make sure to ask for medium+ on the burger. Other than that everything was very good! Our waiter and support staff were phenomenal.

We were visiting New York for a lovely Christmas Trip! I was recommended Minetta by a client (downloaded the Resy app & set a reminder to book once reservation were available) Friday 20th Dec! It did not disappoint, our waiter was so attentive and wonderful, he remembered everything! Minetta itself was very busy, unfortunately we were seated by the bar, so had quite a lot of people who were noisy and stood right next to us! We didn’t let it ruin our time though!
We ordered the steak tartare, clam chowder, steak & frites, the hake along with a lovely bottle of red! The meal was not cheap, like everything in New York, but totally worth it for a charming restaurant with excellent food and service.

Out of the 24 New York restaurants I've experienced, it was AMAZINGGG to have the best⭐️service and taste.
When I first went to the store, my clothes were thick and heavy because it was winter, but I let them enjoy the food

Whenever I’m back in NYC I always make it a point to go back to Minetta. A true classic with the best servers making you feel like you never left. One of the top burgers in NYC as well. A true classic

Delightful food and super nice service,  the ambiance is old New York style but a bit too hot and stuffy, i would recommend stronger AC in the dining room. The crowd was a mix of locals, business diners, couples on dates. Overall people were dressed quite casually and i felt the ambiance would win from more elevated dress code.
The black label burger was amazing as expected as well as my pan seared branzino and octopus salad. But the foie-gras terrine was a bit underwhelming. And the signature chocolate souffle was a real highlight, it says for two, but it was so airy i would eat it alone.
A reservation tip: if no availability on Resy call directly and sometimes they can fit you in.

Har nyligen läst Keith McNallys bok om sina minirestauranger i New York, vi ville testa den. Den ursprungliga baren grundades 1932 och finns fortfarande kvar. Naturligtvis, känd för hamburgaren, vi var mycket nöjda. Även en Grand Marnier-sufflé. Vi gick på en fredag kväll, som var upptagen och bullriga, men vi älskade det.

Det här stället är inget för klaustrofobiker. Våra platser var så nära bordet bredvid att de där killarna rörde vid vårt bord. Baren var två djup, blockerade ingången. Vi var tvungna att klämma oss förbi för att komma till bordet. Det är en liten restaurang och för många människor var packade i. Inte bekväm. 
Chokladsufflén var jättegod. Burgaren var meh. Servicen var långsam.

Det är ett litet ställe som förklarar varför det är så svårt att få en resi. Det är urbant med en sofistikerad servitör personal. Vi åt martinis och deras berömda hamburgare. Som min vän sa: vi har nu bockat av det från vår lista.

Min dotter och jag var walk ins. Personalen kunde inte ha varit mer vänlig och tillmötesgående. Vi fick 2 platser i baren och fortsatte att ha en av de bästa kvällarna någonsin. Stort rop till John - som mästerligt serverade oss och gjorde den bästa Gimlet jag någonsin haft. Scenen i baren var så rolig och livlig och gemytlig. Och John etablerade den vibben. Vi fullkomligt ÄLSKAR Minetta Tavern! Maten är fantastisk & dessertsuffléerna är ett MÅSTE - Grand Marnier eller Choklad ELLER ofta - BÅDA! Atmosfären är som att transporteras till en fransk bistro - charm från topplistorna! Denna översyn skulle inte vara komplett utan erkännande av den varma och professionella personalen. Första gången i NYC och vi rekommenderades denna restaurang och det gjorde ingen besviken. 

Riktigt mysig atmosfär, bra service, personal vänlig och ingenting var för mycket besvär. 

Min vän hade hummerrullen som var jättegod och jag hade French Dip, som var himmelriket. Jusen den kommer med är så god och jag ville inte att den skulle ta slut. 

Bra ställe att titta på folk!

Trots att tre av fyra av oss åt Black Label Burger var detta den bästa måltiden vi ätit denna vecka. Burgarna var goda, liksom gulfenad tonfisk och löksoppa. Servicen var bra under hela måltiden. Efter att våra huvudnät och innan våra öknar levererades de behövde flytta oss och de comp'ed oss desserter, vilket de verkligen inte behövde göra. Souffle och kokoskaka var båda enastående. Vi kommer att trotsigt besöka igen på vårt nästa besök i NYC.

När jag dör och kommer till himlen hoppas jag att det ser ut, smakar och känns som här. De får oss att tro att vi har levt i deras kåpa inte under de sanna tre månaderna utan under deras påhittade tjugo år tillräckligt länge för att vara stammisar men inte för länge för att förlora vår sex appeal.

Förra året åt jag den bästa crepe Suzette någonsin och hade fantastisk service! Men idag kom jag tillbaka bara för att fråga om jag kunde komma in en timme för desserten. Jag frågade en kvinna som var i receptionen och hon ignorerade mig helt enkelt och frågade (framför mig! ) till en slumpmässig servitör (super trevlig en) som bara gick förbi för att förklara för mig... vad är syftet med denna vänliga överlägsenhet, hon ignorerade mig från början men hon var så överlägsen jag än mig (kund) att hon inte ens kunde prata med mig? Det var en kvinna med något i ögat, pls undvika henne till varje pris! Jag är en kund men kommer aldrig någonsin komma tillbaka och aldrig någonsin rekommendera längre. Detta skulle aldrig hända i Europa!

Ganska bra hamburgare men jag kämpar för att kalla den bäst i stan mycket mindre bäst överlag. 

Den svarta märket burgare är känd för en högkvalitativ blandning som är läcker och skiljer sig från din typiska burgare. Smaken är salt och mycket biff - liksom. Jag rekommenderar dock att be om gruyereost ovanpå för att ge den lite saftighet. 

Choklad - karamelltårtan är klockren och värd att beställa om du gillar den typen av dessert. 

Sammantaget var det mycket bra men lite dyrt. Jag skulle inte gå ut ur mitt sätt att besöka men om du kan gå, är det bra

Det verkar överflödigt att ens granska en sådan väl - älskad institution, men det är väl - älskad av en anledning! Vi hoppades ursprungligen att komma för vår bröllopsdag middag, som vi hade gjort för min födelsedag för några år sedan, men tyvärr platsen var bokad fast (väntade alldeles för länge för att reservera! ) , men det fanns en brunch plats tillgänglig följande morgon vid 11 . Vi anlände runt 11 : 50 och värden som öppnade ytterdörren lät oss sitta vid baren medan vi väntade på vårt bord. Så snart vi satt, möttes vi av vår vänliga server och försedd med läckra varma bröd, smör och flingsalt. 

Min man hade den rostade benmärgen (vilket var en MYCKET större portion än han hade förväntat sig, men han sa att det var otroligt) och äggen norska (som han inte ens kunde avsluta men sa att den botade laxen var bland det bästa han någonsin hade haft). Jag hade den franska omeletten - - enkel men utförd till perfektion, med en väldigt lättklädd och otroligt fräsch sallad vid sidan av. Vi delade också en kladdig bulle, som var utsökt. Jag hade angett att vi firade vår årsdag när jag gjorde bokningen, och vår servitör vänligt gratulerade oss och gav oss var och en en flöjt gratis champagne. 

Slutligen blev vi erbjudna en dessertmeny och medan jag var ganska mätt ville jag fortsätta njuta av den underbara atmosfären, så vi beställde en bit vacker kokoskaka (med en otrolig kokosglass som hade en äkta kokossmak, inte för söt) och jag lyckades modigt äta upp det hela, trots att jag nu var obehagligt mätt, ha. 

Liksom den andra restaurangen vi besökte under denna resa (One if By Land) , det finns inte många överraskningar på en plats som Minetta Tavern - - det är en mysig, opretentiös plats med vänlig, uppmärksam och professionell personal och mat du redan vet och älskar gjort med stor omsorg och skicklighet. Dess sällsynthet är i den kombinationen att den inte förlitar sig på sitt rykte utan istället förtjänar det vid varje måltid. Tack till personalen för att alltid få oss att känna sig välkomna och omhändertagna från det ögonblick vi kliver in. Vi kommer säkert att vara tillbaka för ett annat besök.

Jag gjorde en hel del sökande efter en bra hamburgare och i allmänhet en speciell plats i NYC. Minetta Tavern dyker upp på nästan alla listor. Burgaren är den bästa om jag någonsin ätit. Atmosfären, inredningen, personalen och atmosfären är perfekt. Jag misstänker att hela menyn är i nivå med hamburgaren. Det är bara en supercool plats som inte kan återskapas idag. Boka i god tid.

Denna restaurang är exceptionell och har sitt rykte av en anledning. Servicen är vänlig och inredningen är så mysig. Burgaren är utsökt - liksom espresso martini.

Minetta Tavern har ett ikoniskt rykte, men vår erfarenhet var en blandad väska. Atmosfären var livlig men överfull, vilket gör det svårt att njuta av en avslappnad måltid. 

Vinlistan var chockerande dyr, även av glaset. När det gäller maten, kom biff frites ut mer som en pepparbiff på grund av den överväldigande mängden peppar. Vår kycklingrätt var underkokt — ett oförlåtligt misstag på den här nivån. Ruccolasalladen dränktes i balsamvinäger, vilket övermannade vad som borde ha varit en fräsch, enkel maträtt. 

Den enda som stod ut var den svarta etiketten burgare — rik, smakrik och tillagad perfekt. Var dock beredd på den branta prislappen som följer med. 

Även om det generellt sett fanns några höjdpunkter gjorde de problem vi stötte på det svårt att motivera kostnaden. Håll dig till klassikerna om du går, men vet vad du är inne för!
