Small cozy Italian restaurant with a family like atmosphere. They have a daily offer that is different to the regular a’la carte menu. Always talk to your waiter they are knowledgeable. It does worth to have a go with the daily offer. There is a wide choice of appetizers. I choose from the daily offer. As far as I can remember it was stuffed fried peppers which was outstanding. Duck and pea soup are also 5*. Tiramisu is a must have top choice. Panna cotta is also very good and luckily not on the sweet side.
This place is a must visit. There is also an excellent wine menu.

Wow!! Totally unexpected amazing Italian restaurant. We came for my birthday very low key and was pleasantly surprised! I must say having just been recently in Italy it’s the closest to the real thing I’ve had in a while in the city. Good wine selection, amazing service and the food was outstanding! Bravo!

I recently dined at this Italian restaurant, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The food was delicious, and the staff provided excellent service. My only critique is that the serving dishes were consistently cold. While this wasn't an issue for cold dishes, warm plates would have enhanced the experience for hot meals. This is my favourite food on the UWS. Warm and inviting, delicious but not pretentious. The gnocchi, pea salad, and specials are always fantastic. We've never had to wait for a table - but it's usually near-full of happy diners. Love it here, the perfect place to bring family and friends when they visit!

The food is excellent, I'm not going to lie, it's very good food, very good pasta, especially the steak they have. But the service is poor, discriminatory and it’s a service to which myself and my wife felt rushed to eat so that they can put another person on the table; from the Mexicans who brought out the food to the Italian waitress working besides the owner. Besides that I was having an incredible night with the love of my life, we ate a good Steak, we ate a good pasta, but then a customer came with a dog, although they claim it was a service dog, we all knew the dog was not a service dog, the issue here was that the restaurant prioritized this group of people that came in with the dog and ignored the other customers in the restaurant. We asked for a bottle of wine and the waitress stated that they didn’t have bottles of wine that they only provided glasses of wine but when the group of people who were with the dog arrived and asked for a bottle of wine it was given to them. We brought the discrimination up to the waitress and owner and they said that they didn’t understand what we had said and didn’t know that we wanted a bottle of wine. The owner was there and the waitress didn't care how we felt, they gave all the attention to the group of people with a dog who was walking around the restaurant. Just imagine a Dog walking around in a restaurant while you eat. After such a chaotic experience, that was so horrible, so discriminatory and so unprofessional. I dont recommend anyone to go to this restaurant, I think they should close it because of the poor customer service they have and all the discrimination against the people who live around. I am a dog lover and own one myself but I don’t disturb other people in restaurants with my dog while they eat. At the end of the day We all know that wasn’t a service dog, the dog was easily and openly walking around. I don’t recommend this place, I provided pictures of the dog, Thank you.

Vi åkte med en stor familj grupp till Osteria 106 på en fredag kväll. Maten var utsökt. Personalen var hjälpsam och tillmötesgående. Vi hade en underbar kväll. Vi njöt särskilt av gnocchi porcini, snöärtssallad, "insalata esotica" med ruccola, endiv, avokado, hjärtan av palm och pecorino calabrese.

Gick i sista minuten på en lördagskväll, jag skulle rekommendera att boka ett bord eftersom det är populärt och väldigt upptaget. De pressade in oss, men kände sig under press för att avsluta så snart som möjligt. Det är mysigt (inte en enorm plats) förmodligen rättvist att säga lite trångt därför lite tappat. Välkommen och servicen var båda utmärkta. Risbollar och musslor är mycket gott och det medföljande brödet och doppet är enastående. Skaldjurspasta huvud och grön pesto pasta huvud både generös och fyllning. Chianti var ok, lite lätt faktiskt, jag föredrar en rikare, tyngre stil. Det är inte billigt, men då är det NY och jag tyckte det var ganska bra värde för pengarna.

Jag åkte dit med en vän som bodde i närheten och medan vi delade en aptitretare och en middag så hade vi gott för oss båda. Vi hade grillad bläckfisk aptitretare och det var underbart. Bläckfisken var öm, och dess ackompanjemang blandades perfekt - - mycket, mycket bra. Medan det fanns många förrätter att välja mellan, beslutade vi att bli lite friska och delade branzino. Fisken var helt enkelt tillagad, men återigen mycket välsmakande. Vi valde deras potatismos med gröna bönor för att följa med, och igen, allt var mycket bra. För att fylla på delade vi en tiramisu och det räckte säkert för oss och det avslutade måltiden snyggt. Vi bor cirka 15 kvarter från Osteria 106. Vi har promenerat vid restaurangen många gånger, men fram till ikväll hade aldrig gått in, även om det ser mycket välkomnande ut, ikväll försökte vi det. Till en början blev vi lite besvikna över att ljudnivån verkade mycket hög men vi insåg då att ett bord hade ett litet barn som orsakade mycket uppror. När barnet tagit en promenad tycktes allt lugna till ett trevligt "surr".
Vi beställde den speciella, som var färsk fettuccine - - utmärkt - - med krabba och bläckfisk i en hummerbisque, körsbärstomatsås. Helt otroligt. Vi började med päronsallad, som var väldigt trevlig och slutade med en creme br l e. Vi äter aldrig öken men vi kände oss så bra och vibe var så trevligt att vi bestämde oss för att prova öknen. Inte experter på creme br l e men det var ganska smakligt.
Jag har sett några klagomål här om service. Vi tyckte att tjänsten var ganska bra. . . effektiv och trevlig.

När vi anlände, var vi hälsade med värme och gästfrihet. Platsen var trångt, men vi kände oss mer än bekväma i vårt bord för två.

Delar är stora, men inte stora. Vi hade en bra tid, bra middag, trevlig kväll.

Vi gick för NYE att äta middag i denna restaurang eftersom det är ganska nära från hotellet och recensioner vi läser var bra.

Förutom deras vanliga meny hade de några specialiteter för natten. Maten var verkligen läckra, speciellt risotto. Och priserna var inte så höga alls.

Vi är dock inte särskilt nöjda med personalen, särskilt med tjejen som deltog i oss under hela middagen. Vi hade en känsla av att de gjorde roligt med oss hela tiden. Vi såg dem flera gånger och tittade på oss, skrattade och skämt bland personalen, och vi vet verkligen inte varför.

Lamporna i taket var också låga så att en av oss slog huvudet med en av dem när han försökte gå upp och istället för att fråga om han var ok började de skratta mycket om det. Också i slutet önskade vi ett gott nytt år när vi lämnade platsen och de skrattade bokstavligen ut igen. Det var väldigt irriterande.

Vi skulle upprepa för maten men inte för personalen.

Verkligen haft vår måltid och restaurangen övergripande. Tabellerna är väl åtskilda och ljudnivån möjliggör enkel samtal. Särskilt åtnjöt stekade kronärtskockor och pumpa ravioli. Kommer snart tillbaka.

Vi snubblat på denna härliga stadsdel restaurang och pojke var vi förvånad! Fantastiska italienska färska gjort pasta och bra val i italienska viner. Stämningen är varm med utsatta tegelväggar och patina speglar. Tjänsten är lika inbjudande. Kan inte vänta på nästa besök.
