The family meal is fantastic value and I feel like I could bring my parents to eat here and there would be no complaints! My only complaint is the music volume.

The PK wings are beautifully crispy and flavorful, when I come back I will 100% get these again.

The pork sisig is pretty good but I feel like I could consider trying something else next time.

Both noodle dishes are amazingly flavorful and plentiful. I would 100% order then every time I come back

The crispy cauliflower was okay, but not particularly crispy and I feel like the sauce should be thicken so it sticks to the cauliflower.

The Hainanese Duck is cooked very well and tender. The crispy rice is very flavorful and matches the dish very well.

The coco rice is amazing and 100% mandatory.

The mini-doughnuts were paired with a calamansi custard that is perfectly sweet and tart.

100% would come back again!

Stopped by for a team dinner and we had a great time.

We started out with drinks. I had a local hazy IPA from a can. Was good. Beer options were pretty good.

We decided to go with the family style option. Favorites of mine were the papaya salad, the sisig platter, and the duck! I did not get photos of all the food but those three were standouts for me!

For dessert, I had the donut which was very tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back again for more delicious food 😋.

Super tasty food and delicious cocktails! This spot offers lip-smacking good small to large plates in a casual setting. Hubs and I went for the "Family Meal" for 2- a good and very filling deal of 2 small plates, 1 big plate, 1 noodle, bottomless rice, and donuts or Jello shots. We also each got a Cocktail Flight of 3 yummy, thoughtful, heady, and full-size drinks. While everything from our order was very good, standouts were the  Sizzling Sisig, Chili Pan Mee, and the Coconut Rice. Everything's so good, you'll be oinking and mooing!

quite disappointed as the first time my friend went here, she said it was decent!
brunch menu was a bit limited but they have a good bottomless deal.

the best thing we got were the powdered donuts, with pandam dipping sauce! everything else was wayyyy too salty, spicy, & tart (lime). we were seated in the back room where it was set 65 degrees with speakers blasting right above us, so it was hard to talk with the table. overall fun spot, but can’t justify the food

I don’t usually post reviews but this place is probably the best new restaurant on the Upper West Side. The food was out of this world. We ordered the family meal for 2 and it was phenomenal. And the portions were amazing. We’ve got leftovers for days. The papaya salad was fresh and delicious, the tocino wings had the perfect amount of crisp sauce, and spice, the khao soi was a fantastic curry noodle, and the dry aged ribeye was cooked to perfection. Mike, our server, was the ultimate host and was attentive and informative. 10/10 will be going back tomorrow.

Vi var i det bakre rummet som påminde mig om Pok Pok som brukade vara i Brooklyn. 

Vi beställde två förrätter, en nudelrätt, två stora tallrikar och ett ris för att mata fyra. 

Klimparna var inte av den här världen. Revbenen hade den bästa kladdiga grillsåsen. Blomkålen var smakrik. 

Det fanns inte en blindgångare i kön. 

Priserna är milda jämfört med överallt annars. 

Värdet är vansinnigt bra.

ÄLSKAR denna plats! Jag föddes i Filippinerna (lämnad som barn) och växte upp med hemlagad filippinsk mat hela mitt liv. Denna plats påminner mig om min ungdom med de många filippinska influenser i sina rätter. Varje tallrik var utsökt och dryckerna var bra också! Jag rekommenderar starkt att äta här!

Jag firade My Year of 50 och de firade 12-årsjubileum så kunde inte tänka mig en bättre helg att äta på Pig & Khao i NYC. Det enda som gör mig ledsen är att jag hade väntat så länge ( 12 år) på att få äta där. Det var så fantastiskt! Restaurangen är en hel Vibe från musiken till utrymmet till servicen till drinkarna till maten – denna restaurang är ett resmål. Jag kunde inte rekommendera denna restaurang längre - ÄT HÄR!

Med reservation reserverades vårt parti av 6 omedelbart i det främre avsnittet med god utsikt över köket. Hot Tropic cocktail var utmärkt kokt; den franska rosen var fruktig medan det krydda citrongräste av mynta var lugnande. Av de små plåtar och sidor som beställdes: gruppfavoriterna var den grillade fläsksnäcken med rosenkål (djärv smak) och Chili Pan Mee (kryddig och läckra nudlar). Den filippinska sizzling sisig serveras med ägg var en medley av förtjusande smaker. Ditto thrverll kryddat grillad majs och färsk papayasallad. Av de två stora tallrikarna var den mjuka och fuktiga hela stekt fisken (vackert pläterad) mer minnesvärd, trots ben; medan den malaysiska stekt kycklingen, även om den var krispig, var helt vanlig, speciellt för $ 7 per styck. Kokosnöt (härlig) och jasminris var bra komplement. Många i vårt parti älskade Halo halo dessert. Hiphop-vibe och uppmärksam besättningskamratskap och lagarbete ökade till denna plats charm.

Stora vibbar. Smaker var på punkt. Lite bullriga och hade inte alla drinkar tillgängliga på menyn, men definitivt värt ett besök. Öknarna såg fantastiskt ut. Jag hade verkligen fått en om jag inte fyllde mig med de läckra tallrikarna förut.

Kom till en brunch på en söndagseftermiddag i oktober med flickvän. Mat var högsta kvalitet, mycket bättre än du ser på vanliga brunchmenyer och något lite annorlunda. Biff var 10/10.

Påfyllningar var mycket snabba och deffs gjorde det mesta av våra 2 timmar. Ropa ut Jamal för tjänsten.

varit där två gånger i mitt korta besök och jag älskar verkligen den här platsen, den fantastiska maten som de gör, god atmosfär och bra musikval och bottenlösa daiquiri förstås och sist men inte minst importent bra service också! bravo gris & khao. jag vet att om jag bor i staden som skulle vara min permanenta plats för brunch men jag är säker på att de serverar god mat hela dagen

Efter några cocktails i LES behövde vi lite sena (ish) nattmat. Vi fick en sista minuten 11: 15 reservation och beställde en massa sina små plattor med en sida av Jasmine ris.
 - Bläckfisken var lite över kokta men smaken av den rätten var fantastisk!
 - Biffen var perfekt kokad och en allround vinnare
 - fläskmagen var för mig, lite av en låt ned. Bara älskade inte smaken. . . förlåt!
 - räkorna skulle dö för! Jag vill gå tillbaka främst för dem

Tjänsten var snabb, men det var ganska tyst. Vi valde barstolarna så att vi kunde se deras kockar skapa sitt konstarbete precis framför oss. De är tydligt passionerade om vad de gör och vi är väldigt vänliga. De ville verkligen se till att vi njöt av vad de tjänat oss.

Med kort meny med punchiga unika rätter är Pig & Khao en juvel i kronan på Lower East Side. Ursprungligen sönderdelad av de tilltalande valen som valts valde jag Khao Soi - - en rik skål med nudlar, kyckling och buljong - - och Mongo Guisado - - en tjock mungbönesoppa med basilika och curryblad. Båda rätterna var mycket smakrika, men endast Khao Soi var varm - kryddig. En lantgård öl från Stillwater kompletterade båda rätterna väl utan att ge alltför kraftfull humle. Till efterrätt åkte jag till de heta ricotta-munkarna, serveras med snyggt kalamansi-vanilj. Tjänsten var både varm och mycket professionell. Första klass hela vägen.

Vi bestämde oss för att prova Pig och Khao efter att ha sett att det deltog i restaurangveckan. Vi hade planerat att delta i deras restaurangvecka. Det var dock en helt eller ingenting situation. För vår måltid beställde vi Banh Xeo, som var en lätt stekt crepe fylld med räkor, bacon och inlagda grönsaker. Det var utsökt. Khao Soi slog rätt notering mellan röd curry och kokosmjölk. Men bordet favoriten var Chile Pan Mee, som innehöll ramen nudlar med stekt ansjovis, korv och ett pocherat ägg. Vi beställde en extra sida av läckra vitlök stekt ris bara för att suga upp varje droppe av såsen.
D-koden är en eklektisk mix, medan musiken ständigt stötte på hip-hop-slag. Tjänsten var kunnig och uppmärksam.

Snygg atmosfär när du först går in med köket ute i det öppna och rapmusiken spelar. Eklektisk meny som hade en bra blandning av salta och söta rätter. Brioche var en trevlig söt slut på brunch. Naturligtvis var de bottenlösa mimoserna i två timmar fantastiska. Personalen var uppmärksam och catered till vår större grupp. Bara önskar delarna var lite större, men kommer definitivt att gå igen.

Kommer från Singapore, där resan till Filippinerna och Thailand under en långhelg är en gemensam aktivitet, tenderar vi att vara mer känsliga för äktheten. Vad Pig & Khao gör rätt är att ta en klassiker och säkra den med något annat helt och resultatet är mestadels gott. Vi hade fläsk sisig, som var ute av denna värld. Vackert marinerad tärnad fläskhuvud som du bara inte kunde sluta äta. Den thailändska basilbiffen hade en riktig spark eftersom de lade till dödliga gruvor med gröna chili bitar - vi godkänner! Den enda besvikelsen var Duck Rice, gjort i stil med en Singaporean Chicken Rice. Riset var skarpt, vilket var en fin touch, men andan, medan saftig, slog inte riktigt gommen på det sätt som vi kunde se var avsedd. Det kan ha fungerat med en skarp ristad marinerad anka. Även delen var lite liten för $ 35. Cocktailerna var en seger, särskilt koriander Mojito (förlåt jag glömde det riktiga namnet), som erbjöd en smart asiatisk tagning. Behöver reservationer - blir mycket trångt och mycket bullriga!

Serveringspersonalen hänger i pratar sinsemellan. Det fanns 3 av oss i ett litet bord med massor av rätter beställde men de vägrade låta använder den nästa bordet så att vi hade rum att äta - ändå var stället halvtomt! Och maten är helt vanliga. Definitivt inte värt att rekommendera.
