Wow what can I say about this place that nobody else has! The service was incredible, from spot on recommendations, attentive (and meaningful) check ins, to even just being able to get me a great spot to eat (slight glitch on my part with reservation for two but I was only one).

Those who complain about the pizza being like a cracker… that’s because it is, it’s super thin and crispy. I actually think the style is named such and that you can find recipes online. It is amazing! I nearly ate the entire pie myself, on top of the most delicious pasta I’ve ever had. Short rib… and wow, if it’s on the specials list - get it. Cheers and happy eating.

However, to take it to the next level, I'd suggest a few tweaks:

This was the best pizza we have ever had. And we’ve had a lot of pizza! We had the supreme and the tie dye and they were so delicious. Can’t wait to come back when we visit NYC again.

Efter att ha landat i NY och checkat in på mitt hotell gick jag bara gradvis runt och drogs till RUBIROSA’s för lunch. Jag beställde köttbullarna, visste inte exakt vad jag skulle förvänta mig och allt jag kunde säga var WOW. Det fanns bara 3 köttbullar men de var jättegoda och väldigt goda vilket gjorde att jag bara kunde äta två så jag tog med resten hem för lunch till en annan dag. Jag satt i baren som platsen var fastnat men servern behandlade mig väl från början till slut. Jag skulle rekommendera denna plats till alla som söker efter Italienska mat.

Bra pizza men mycket dyrt. Bra Service, liten restaurang. I lilla Italien på Mullberry Street. Pizza är dyrt om bra!

Maten var fantastisk och restaurangen hade en absolut blomstrande atmosfär med bra Service. GF-menyn var utmärkt och alla alternativ var beredda separat och helt säkert - jag rekommenderar här om du vill njuta av en läcker pizza som en Coeliac.

Anlände utan reservation vid 15:00 och hade en 30 minuters väntan på ett bord. (Vi gick till en annan bar som de sms när ditt bord är klart) . Vi var mycket chockade men mycket glada att vi lyckades komma in alls som vi bara snubblade på denna plats på vår promenad tillbaka till vårt hotell. 

Restaurangen har definitivt en fantastisk atmosfär till det, maten var bra men Servicen var inte bra. 

Vi beställde en calamari förrätt, pasta och en pizza, plus 3 drinkar. Pastan kom först, sedan 15 minuter senare ett glas vin. Sedan kom ca 15 minuter efter det. Vi fick jaga de andra drinkarna och till slut kom pizzan långt senare. Tack och lov att vi alla var glada att dela disken! Trots att vi ville ha mer drinkar vi slutade bara betala och lämna som det verkade tjänsterna verkligen osammanhängande och långsam.

Vi älskade denna plats. Jag tror att det var vår favoritmåltid på hela semestern! Som en grupp av fem, vi skulle aldrig ha kunnat äta där utan en reservation. De tar emot reservationer sju dagar i förväg, och de öppnar vid midnatt. Jag är verkligen glad att min man loggade in vid midnatt för att få vår plats eftersom vid 08:00 alla platser var borta för dagen som vi besökte. Maten var helt utsökt. Allt var så smakrikt! Vi hade snabb Service också. Rekommenderas starkt!

Om du gillar att vänta 30 utomhus i regnet (eftersom de inte har utrymme att vänta) för att sitta i baren med bord runt omkring dig tillgängliga, är detta platsen för dig. Och våga inte fråga det till värdinnan, för hon kommer att hota att sätta dig i en ännu längre väntelista. Som om det var den enda restaurangen i stan. 
Så vi var tvungna att åka innan vi ens fick chansen att äta, för att undvika ännu en förnedring.

Vår favorit matupplevelse i en vecka av bra måltider i NYC. Ja, det är svårt att få en bokning men det är värt det. 

En del av charmen är själva byggnaden. Nära till Little Italy men tillräckligt långt bort för att inte vara turistiska. Matplatser som är små och borden är staplade, men istället för klaustrofobiskt känns arrangemanget som att vi är på världens största kvartershak. Alla har det bra och det smittar. 

För en grupp på 5 vuxna delade vi på en Rubirosa Supreme pizza och en Caesarsallad och sedan beställde vi varsin egen pasta. Förmodligen för mycket mat men det var så bra att det inte finns något vi skulle hoppa över nästa gång vi går. Vi beställde också en flaska husrött (Nero d’Avola) som var förvånansvärt gott; vi skulle gärna beställa det igen vid framtida besök. 

Vi tyckte alla att pasta vi beställde till oss själva var godast, men jag fick Rubirosa Ragu och den var helt klart bäst. 

Servicen var enastående, från värdinnorna till servitören och supportpersonalen. 

Kan inte vänta med att gå tillbaka.

Pizza är ganska bra men inget speciellt. Inte så smakrikt som jag hade hoppats, inget gör att det sticker ut. Skorpan var för knaprig och den svagaste delen av pizzan. Jag har ätit dussintals pizzor som var lika goda

Vi har varit på nästan alla de hypade "bästa" pizzeriorna i stan och Brooklynn och detta är den bästa pizzan vi någonsin ätit! Ibland passar inte hypen, men slipsen - färgpizza är fantastisk. Tunn, krispig, den bästa tomatsås vi någonsin smakat, med vodkasås, färsk mozzarella och lite pesto är den perfekta kombinationen. Perfektion! Och om du går för en annan pizza, frukost pizza är fantastisk också, även om ingenting kan jämföras med slipsen die!

Den BÄSTA glutenfria pizza jag någonsin ätit! Personalen var vänlig. Atmosfären var ikoniska NYC. Se till att du gör en bokning för att vara säker på att du inte behöver vänta.

Rubirosa ligger på Nolita och har utvecklats till en mycket älskad italiensk restaurang känd för sin pizza. Råntunna skorpor gör det gott att äta. Beverly och jag åt lunch här nyligen. Vi åt en pizza. Hälften var Arugula med tomatsås, rödlök, parmigiana och balsamico och den andra hälften var “Tie Dye” med en topping av vodka, tomater, mozzarella och pesto. Vi delade på en uppfriskande ruccolasallad med en citronvinäigrette som var ganska stor. Pizzans ankomst förebådades av glädje! Vi åt gott och den enda biten kvar tog jag med hem. Star, vår server, gav mig en kaka tänd med ett ljus eftersom vi skippade desserten som var för mätt. Man kan få en reservation på Resy för Rubirosa men eftersom det har blivit så populärt är det ibland svårt att få en reservation. Jag har ätit pizza här i årtionden och på den tiden var det lätt att gå in för att äta. Aurpita och Michelle, de två charmiga värdinnor, fick oss att känna sig välkomna och gav mig hopp om att jag skulle kunna njuta av lunch här igen.

Denna klassiska italiensk-amerikanska restaurang ligger i Nolita (det lugnare området norr om Little Italy) och är mycket hemtrevlig och välkomnande. Även om det är specialiserat på pizza hade jag hemlagad pasta (lumache med husragu) och några enastående köttbullar. Servicen är supereffektiv och maten är underbar! Rekommenderas starkt.

Pizza är ok. Inte den bästa men inte som man hoppats. Vår servitris var trevlig men front office damer var hemskt - så oförskämd och nedlåtande och hade ingen hyfs. Vi kom dit 10 minuter tidigare så ombads att vänta utanför vilket är bra men när vi gick tillbaka in fick vi veta att vårt bord fortfarande inte var redo. Till slut visades vi till det sämsta bordet på stället trots att andra tvåsitsiga platser fanns tillgängliga - precis bredvid pizzaugnarna så att du ständigt förbises och ibland var det outhärdligt varmt med personal som gick förbi. 
Vi hade läst att det var ett bra ställe men skulle inte rekommendera som mat var bara genomsnittliga och kommer från Storbritannien var glada att prova bättre snitt av pizza som vi får hemma men tyvärr var det inte att vara
