They were able to accommodate us last minute and from the time you arrive to when you walk out the door the experience and food on point.  They quality coming out of the kitchen is top notch and the knowledge of the rest of the staff excellent from the dishes, ingredients, drinks and wine they don’t miss a beat when you ask a question.  Some of the food pics were taken after we started eating the plates come out like art on a plate.

Phenomenal dining experience. Food was great. Highly recommend their espresso martini, seafood risotto and pigs stomach. Even the bread in the start was delicious! The servers were so friendly and really took care of us. Lorenzo the manager was super accommodating because we were celebrating an engagement. We even forgot a hat at the table when we left then saw Lorenzo chasing after us with the hat when we realized. 10/10 experience. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible experience - our group of 6 unanimously agrees this was the best restaurant experience we have ever had. Beautiful evening ambience, warm and approachable, yet elevated and refined. First on the food: it was a whole new dimension of Italian food. Familiar dishes but with a new depth of flavor I had not experienced before. The restaurant’s roots are in Rome, which means they have a unique take on certain dishes.. there’s an emphasis on a very specific level of al dente pasta, a more intensely rich type of cacio e pepe, and pork sourced from Italy served as Guanciale (crispy bits served on top of your pasta).

The buffalo mozzarella crudo was delicious and delicate. The duck prosciutto had a pleasantly smokiness at the end of each bite, and the octopus was very tender and flavorful!

We were very well taken care of by our wonderful server Ricardo as well as Lorenzo, the owner himself! He suggested the best thing: they offered a Bitico (spelling?) which isn’t on the menu, but is like a split pasta dish where all of us could try two of their specialties on a single plate. Both the cacio e pepe and rigatoni were other worldly.

Overall I would highly recommend! We had such a wonderful time, such a warm welcome and lovely evening, along with an incredible dining experience! We’ll be back!

The menu is very inventive for an Italian restaurant so that is very much appreciated. We started off with the baby gem salad and the duck prosciutto dish wish mustard ice cream. Both tasted great and were done in ways I had never seen before. For my main I ordered the cacio e pepe. This is one of my favorite pasta dishes and it was disappointing here. It was just missing something.

The interior is beautiful and the service was attentive but overall the dinner missed the mark a bit and I’m not sure if it is worth the price.

We had the four course meal. The appetizer was great, but the rest was just okay. The spaghetti was harder than al dente and was absolutely soaked in an unappetizing green sauce and covered in cayenne pepper. The chicken cutlet, while large, was missing a sauce. It came with a salad and tomatoes. The vegan chocolate gelato tasted like frozen reconstituted pudding pops. For the exceptionally high price the food was decidedly bad.

Mest utsökt italiensk mat i NYC, överlägset. Spaghetti alla chitarra med smör och ansjovis var perfekt al dente och utsökt. Melanzane alla Parmigiana smakade likadant som min mammas: helt perfekt. Tiramisu’ var verklig och enastående. 
Körsbär på moset, en underbar Negronicocktail med en twist gjord på frysta jordgubbar pulver: unik! 
Service av Lorenzo och hans team var förstklassig, fortfarande varm och vänlig och fick mig att känna sig hemma. Fem stjärnor erfarenhet.

Denna plats är verkligen mycket bra, kocken är excellente och platsen är utmärkt (inte för mycket buller, fina möbler... ). Det skulle ha haft 5 stjärnor om mängden i stället var ganska bra. Detta är verkligen inte tillräckligt för priset! Jag hade en $ 35 fläsk som var utmärkt, med bara en liten bit Cesar sallad... nej, det är inte möjligt. Tillsätt potatismos eller grönsaker!

Vi har vår middag där borta. Jag uppskattar maten, även om jag bara hade ett val, som vegetarian. Tiramisen (jag är älskare) var fantastisk. Tyvärr insåg vi inte att dryckerna inte ingick. Jag föreslår för vissa tillfällen, som nyårsafton, att inkludera dem med ett fast pris (som det var för middagen).

Väntade mer än 40 minuter tidigare bokningstid. Hade drinkar i baren medan jag väntade men ingen kom över för att berätta att vårt bord var klart. Vi fick räkningen och valde att betala kontant. Vi bad "servitören" om förändring men han meddelade oss att även om de accepterar kontanter, så ger de inte förändring. Konstig. Vi lämnade kontanter och ett nådigt tips bara för att få "servitören" att stanna förbi när vi satte våra kappor på för att räkna pengarna framför oss. Jag har aldrig sett detta hända tidigare och det gjorde situationen ännu mer besvärlig.

Vår familj äger en italiensk restaurang vid vattnet på östra delen av Long Island så vi förstår vikten av service och mat av hög kvalitet. Se upp för denna restaurang!

brukar inte ens prova italienska restauranger, men förra veckan hade jag nöjet att bli inbjuden till en affärsmiddag i den här trevliga restaurangen. Vin och aptitretare var oerhört bra och att äta pasta där påminde mig om traditionella “cucina italiana”. Stefano är väldigt trevlig och bryr sig verkligen om sina gäster.

Jag har hört ravings om denna plats i åratal och ser verkligen fram emot att sitta för en stor måltid. Istället upplevde vi en fritto misto som var över stekt, alltför saltad. Chewy, rubbery - bara grov. Vi fick en burrata som torkades utan smak - jag kan inte ens tro att det var riktigt burrata. Aldrig sett burrata ser ut så här och smakar så intetsägande. Jag kan fortsätta och fortsätta. Waitstaff / manager var inte tillmötesgående, bara insisterande på att deras mat var bäst och vi borde vara hedrade över att ha haft möjlighet att äta den. Restaurangens chef var mycket vänlig. Han visade till och med arbetsköket till vår sol. För honom var det ett mycket minnesvärt ögonblick. Bra pasta, god vinstock, goda efterrätter. Saker var artiga och de gav korrekt information om italienska måltider. Vi hade en riktigt bra tid där!

Vi hade en blast igår kväll på Antica Pesa. Tjänsten var stor och maten utsökt förberedd av teamet av kockar bredvid oss.
Äntligen kunde man äta lite autentisk romersk mat i Brooklyn, med perfekt pasta "al dente".
Vad en behandling, tack till hela laget och speciellt till vår värd för att göra denna middag mycket minnesvärd.

Medan platsen har en mycket trevlig folklig inredning, kunde maten inte ha varit mer nedslående.
En stor grupp av oss kom till middag (10 av oss). Servitrisen rekommenderade starkt sin specialitet: en tallrik med både deras cacio e pepe och amatriciana pasta. Förmodligen det bästa av båda världarna! Många av oss beställde denna maträtt. Maten slutade serveras kall, och det måste ha varit ca 3 spaghettis bara för cacio e pepe och ca 8 penne för amatriciana - - definitivt inte rättfärdigande priset på maträtten.
Pastan var undercooked (servitrisen svarade med "Det heter Al'dente" - - vi lagar alla våra pasta al'dente, detta var bara underkokta). De fortsatte med att återuppvärma våra rätter och försökte motivera att maten var kall genom att säga att de ville serva oss alla samtidigt, varför varför några beställda diskar var kalla.
Om du inte kan garantera att alla rätter serveras varma, acceptera inte stora grupper.

En restaurang som jag förväntar mig att ha på Upper West-sidan. Mycket fin inredning, rymlig, köket brigaden i öppen utsikt. För mig är god italiensk mat allt om ingredienserna, och Antica Pesa levereras i spader. Vi började med cocktails, Pantera Rosa, Fiori e Radici och Nerone. Och de var alla stora. Jag följde med Cacio e Pepe. Nu är det en maträtt med mycket lite utrymme att gömma - spaghetti, pecorino Romano-ost och svartpeppar. Spagetti var deliriously al dente och osten appliceras med perfektion. Minimalism vid sitt bästa. Min fru och dotter njöt av deras Vignarola och Pane Porchetta. Som huvuddel delade min dotter och jag en Fiorentina och min med tog Ragu d'Anatra. Återigen enkelhet på sitt bästa. En porterhouse i smör, vitlök och timjan med rostad potatis och arvkörsbärstomater. Härlig. 2011 Negroamaro del Salento var ett utmärkt komplement till maträtten. Med kaffe tog vi ett "dolce vita" ökensort som presenterades snyggt. Vi skulle äta middag någon annanstans i Williamsburg. Mycket väldigt glad att vi hamnade här. Väl värt att överväga som ett alternativ för människor uttråkad av föråldrade italienska biljettpriser i UES eller UWS.

vi har kommit till Antica Pesa sedan den öppnade (i "14 tror jag) och det är en av våra favoritfogar. fru och jag är foodies och är vanligtvis picky - inte när det gäller "fancy", men atmosfären och maten måste träffas, oavsett hur mycket $$ vi spenderar. ägaren (jag tror att det är junior Panella) är den perfekta värden. Vi har alltid tagit sin rekommendation och har inte bara det besviken, men ja det har slagit plats. Det bästa är att vi spenderar timmar här - vid baren, vid kaminen och lika över ett bord för middag. restaurangen har aldrig rusat oss och bästa delen är att de får oss att känna oss som hemma. Herr Jr Panella - håll den fantastiska atmosfären, du kommer att förbli vår favorit. Alltid.
