We went here for breakfast but I will absolutely be back for dinner because everything I ate was outstanding. The care and precision that goes into every aspect of every dish is amazing. We had the Royal with Cheese and the Fried Chicken Royal. At first, I thought the chicken may be an odd choice for breakfast but the balance of sweet and spicy and savoury worked so well. I think I preferred it over the "usual" sausage, bacon and egg option which was itself outstanding. We also tried the hash browns which are ridiculously good, but when you see how they make them you understand why they're so tasty. I wanted to take a bag of them home!

Everything about the restaurant was excellent, including the service from the door to the table. Nothing was too much trouble. We wanted to try some black pudding on its own, it wasn't on the menu as a side but a simple request with our waiter and it was produced, no hesitation at all. So simple but still lacking in a lot of places unfortunately.

Definitely a treat but it made waking up early and travelling into London a delight and I can't think of anywhere I'd rather go for breakfast going forward.

Amazing food and a great view of the kitchen from the kitchen bar. Cod's head was a fun eat to slowly pick at, the mushroom parfait and corn ribs were surprising flavours and very nice. Service was perfect. The venison ribs we ordered turned out tougher than expected, and the chef noticed us struggling and swapped it out immediately for the beef ribs. Will definitely return to try more of the menu.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious; I ordered the chicken sandwich with a croissant bun, and it was fantastic—flaky, buttery, and perfectly cooked. For dessert, I tried the French toast, which was equally delicious, sweet, and perfectly fluffy. The standout of the experience was the service. Ajay, our waiter, was warm, attentive, and took care of us from start to finish, ensuring we had everything we needed. Incredible service and fantastic food—I’ll definitely be back!

Such a gem. Firstly the service was brilliant and you feel like you really are being waited on and cared for.

Now the food - absolutely delicious. It’s good to get a few bits and to share amongst those there. We had a selection of small plates and some large - the corn ribs are amazing!! Cocktails also very nice.

We went here for Sunday roast. It was amazing. We had to wait a little bit to get in even though we had a reservation, but the food and atmosphere really weighed up for it.  It was cool to see the kitchen staff work in the middle of the restaurant. Go and try some of the sides when you are first here, you won’t regret!

Found this place by accident during my first visit and meal in London. As soon as I walked in, I was amazed by the design, garden feel, and welcoming staff I encountered.
I sat at the bar, started admiring the place, trying to understand and feel it. Looked at the menu and I directly felt like I wanted what I usually enjoy during brunch at my favorite restaurants in the U.S.
I was created by the bar staff who were phenomenal and served me my mimosa, took a look at the menu and directly went to brunch items and ordered the salmon Benedict. It was delicious and felt like a home but not really, had a familiar meal in an unfamiliar place, setting, and environnement. But it was nicely done and beautifully organized. I noticed a great deal of team work from the door, to the floor, passing by the bar. Managers were present and checking on the rest of the staff as well as guests, like me. I kept looking towards the dining room just to the understand the juxtaposition between the inside dining that looked like a garden, and the outdoor (patio) space that is way inside the building that really looked like an actual garden. I think that this restaurant was successfully designed to treat two spaces and make them feel like one.
I just discovered a new favorite place in the city of London, I am glad that I enjoyed my first meal during my first visit in this restaurant. Can’t wait to try more menu items. By the way I ended up having a LOT of mimosas, it felt like a celebration.
I highly recommend this place for London visitors or locals.

Went here for a set menu and it was great. I love the ambience as the interiors are great with loads of plants. There is an indoor and outdoor (garden) sitting area. The food was very nicely presented and the service was great. Though the dress code says smart casual and smart trainers are accepted, i saw many dressed very casual with some wearing shorts and some sliders instead of shoes so it's pretty laid back, in case you are wondering.

Our first visit at the Ivy, first impression is really nice with traditional British feel.   We had afternoon tea, food is really good and presentation is beautiful.  Enough choice for everyone and sufficient.    The only downside of our visit is the noise from other guest chatter/laughing (maybe typical brits?)  despite of request on the quiet section.  Seating on the garden is actually better/quiet, but according to the staff normally it's more noise in the garden section.
