The hotel was absolutely amazing. We came with our dog, and he was greeted with lots of petting and attention. He even got a dog treat from Barry, who did a great job of welcoming us from the moment we parked and entered the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is not just a place to stay overnight, but an experience on its own.

Great hotel with spectacular details and super nice staff. I do like the attention to details.

My only take, it might be noisy if your room is close to the atrium where Temple Court restaurant area as it is open area and can get loud. If you want quiet room make sure to ask for one further away atrium.

This hotel was full 5 stars. Myself and my partner could not fault this hotel from start to finish. We stayed 3 nights, the hotel was beautiful, unique and welcoming, it was clean and the staff provided a friendly and efficient service. The interior was so nice and different and my partner loved the decor and vibe. The live music and bar and restaurant areas were beautiful. Dan at front desk was super friendly and Barry the doorman amongst everyone else. The hotel is also close to so many things, we didn't get to stay long enough but when we return to NY we will 100% stay at this hotel again. You did great in every way, we couldn't fault anything, thanks for having us and definitely a solid 5 star hotel in comparison to others who brand themselves "5 star". Sincerely - Debbie

Had a fantastic experience during a one night stay in the city while passing through. Utilized the valet service, which was quicker than quoted upon departure. The room was spotless and perfectly appointed with everything you could need. The AC worked well to keep the room cool during the heat of the summer. I couldn't get enough of the signature scent that's in the soaps and shower gels. I wish I could have brought it home with me. Overall, this was a fantastic, unique 5-star experience for a quick overnight passing through. The jazz bar in the basement was a fantastic surprise.

I had been here pre-kids (13+ years ago) and we loved it then and we still love it now. Such a lovely atmosphere and the food is spot on. I love when I can find a place that remains consistent and is still great. Can’t wait to come back again on our next visit.

Service was great. I was thinking of something and she brought it right to me without having to say it out loud! Now that’s service!!

If you have larger parties, I would recommend you make a reservation to avoid a wait. Most tables are smaller tops.

The trout was good, so was the scallops. As for the steak, it came a bit more done than expected, as it would be good if the meat cab also come with some salad and not just fries. It helps to balance off the greasiness of the meat and garlic butter. Service was great as well.

Had a chance to eat at Pastis while the Dishoom pop-up was going on. It was an absolute delicious experience. We went for the breakfast and was amazed at how good the plates were (particularly the chai) and also the service by the Pastis team was great. Highly recommend the restaurant (and the pop up if you see this in the next few days). I hope this type of experience happens again in the future

Love it where!’ It’s become one of our go-to places every time we’re in NYC! We went twice during our 2 night stay because it is that good. Our waiter was so nice and the food was amazing.  And been there again in January 2024 and the food was waaaay too salty, but this time, everything was great. My only criticism is that new tuna carpaccio… not great. My husband and I shared it as an appetizer and we both weren’t fans of it. It’s as if someone had made ground tuna and spread it on a plate. Couldn’t pick up a single slice without it disintegrating. But other than that, we LOVED our food and went back for breakfast 😂 will definitely be going back!!

The most impressive part of the experience is the hostess stand - multiple monitors and hostess, figuring out seating availability like high frequency traders. Hats off.

We didn’t have a reservation for the busy brunch time. The hostesses magically found an outdoor table for us. Perfect weather for some bubbles, steak tartare and modern French fares on the side walk for a Sunday, people watching and post Whitney Biennial visit.
