The food was amazing ! I decided to pick the pulled pork, mash potato and bacon dish and it was delicious! I really enjoyed the food and would 100% come back. The dessert (white chocolate and bacon bits) was an odd mix but surprisingly went well together…..

I recommend coming to this place!!! The waitresses were all lovely and helpful !!!

Food is very good. We had 3 courses meal. Grilled pork knuckles is crisp and delicious. The decoration is cute. So many pigs I have ever seen in a restaurant.

What a nice and cozy place!
The place is warm and it has a good atmosphere. Most of the dishes are pork based (which totally respect the name of the restaurant), but there also some fish and salad dishes.
I took the grilled pork knuckle (5 hours on the grill) and it was delicious!
Perfect crispy skin and very tender juicy meat inside. I’m salivating again while writing this review. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were also very good, and I think the sauce could have been better.
I also try the neck of pork which was also delicious. The beer pairing with the dishes were pretty good too.
The desserts though were a bit a disappointment, maybe after a heavy greasy meal they should have something more light and refreshing instead? Like fruity and not all cream/chocolate based desserts.
That’s just my opinion.
The waitress were all nice and smily, we were just a bit unlucky that our waiter was a bit unexperienced maybe and he made some mistakes, but not too bad.
The place is very busy so I suggest to reserve a table in advance.
Overall I had a good time and I will come back for sure!

Delicious crispy fish and chips and we loved trying the smoked whale. The pork stew was warming. The decor is fun and the bathrooms are very clean. The waitress was lovely and with the sun shining brightly on the outdoor tables it was a great way to spend lunch in Oslo. I would recommend this place to people visiting

Enjoyed my stay during my business trip. They had a mini fridge even if it doesn't keep it cold but cool. Spacious rooms with a great view over Oslo. The pool and sauna you have to pay to enter and if you leave you will have to pay again to enter. They provide massages but you'll want to book sooner rather than later. Breakfast was amazing and loved there waffles every morning.

The overall experience was disappointing, I had expected more. There were a lot of smaller things that made up for a lacking experience. In my room the remote for my tv didn't work, both of the remotes for the bed didn't work. I couldn't open the desk to get to the notepad etc. And the most concerning thing staying in a room that is intended to be accessible is that the red cord in the bathroom that is supposed to be on the floor was tightly wrapped around the shelf high on the wall. The breakfast was very unorganised, some of the items were not well prepared or did not look appetising. When we ate at the restaurant the evening before I was unimpressed by the food, we tried both vegetarian and the non-vegetarian option. It was not worth the prize. We were also seated right by the door to the entrance, which made us feel we were out on display for everyone to watch us eat. And there was a cold draft whenever someone entered the hotel. There should not be a table there, or there should be put up something to give gueats sitting there more privacy and protection from the cold draft. The best part was the staff at the reception that were very welcoming.

Very nice hotel, awesome view and close to nature. Downtown is 30min on the subway.

Breakfast is good, several restaurants. Awesome gym and friendly staff.

The location of Scandic Holmenkollen Park is amazing. The view is absolutely spectacular. My room was smaller than expexted, but the bed was comfortable. Chromecast didn't work, and the shower didn't have enough pressure. No spoons were available for making coffee and tea. The food, however, was really good. I had a wonderful dinner, and experienced great service, and wine recommendation.
