The food was delicious. Very nice view and close to the lake. Service was great! We had two kids with us. We ordered fish for the one kid but the portion was very small. It came with small piece of fish and 4 tiny potatoes. We ordered extra fries for the kids. Not ideal for kids family. Food is bit expensive but worth trying.

Sjön (also known as The Lake) is a lovely and relaxing restaurant to grab something nice to eat or for a casual drink. Enjoyed walking up to the place from the town center (recommend you do this instead of driving up). You can ask any of the stores for walking directions - Google maps does not have it. Fantastic views of the town and Lake Vattern. Smorebread shrimp sandwich, banana split and the chocolate cake were outstanding. Good filter coffee with refills. Very friendly service and nice open areas to sit during summer. Was also fun seeing some old buildings from the 1700s moved here for preservation. Lovely small town, restaurant and fun Swedish experience all around.

Lovely as always. It was a nice sunny day so we sat outside and had a lovely view over the lake. Staff are always lovely. Highly recommended and if you need the menu in English all you have to do is ask someone for it
