Great restaurant close to the Trevi fountain. Good portions, well priced and quiet atmosphere. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoyed the lasagna.

The place is good and has good service, people were nice but sometimes you ask for their help and they just pass by and ignore you, this happened couple of times. Also they mentioned that we ordered water but we didn’t, it was solved later.
Price is good, glass of wine pasta and coffee was 23 euro.

The food oh best food in Italy worth going 10/10 so far unforgettable ❤️

I had dinner with my family two times during my trip in Rome this past September. The first time was just me and my wife. Everything was great, I spoke to the owners, this place has been open since 1959, the owners are great people. I told them that I would come back next time with my son. We went back and again the dinner and the service was great. The food is really authentic italian and  the pasta dishes they are amazing. The price is also fair.

Pretty terrible service but a beautiful atmosphere here. Sat outdoors to enjoy a break beer and spritz. Waiter was clearly annoyed that we weren’t eating so we rushed to finish, paid, and left.

Saw the fresh oysters while walking towards my tour.
Went back for lunch. For two, kinda over ordered.
Portion for mains is adequate or too much if you have a petite appetite.
Oysters cannot complain la. Best. Fresh and soooo good.
Highly recommend the Octopus leg and grill red fish. (very well done)
They accompanied the bread with a good balsamic vinegar. But bread quality a little fell short.
Nevertheless. It was a well-done meal. (Lunch)

We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around this lovely neighborhood. There are artists and small souvenir sellers in the street.

This busy restaurant is huge and had tons of seating. We were hoping to be seated but were told that they were full. There were tons of empty tables but they must all have been reserved. Luckily for us  the hostess was nice enough to squeeze us in at the bar.

We ordered the Caesar salad, Greek salad, and the lobster roll with fries. The salads were fresh and perfect after a day of eating pastas. The dressings for the salad were like thick yogurts. The Caesar salad was different than what we are used but in a good way. It was delicious!
The lobster roll was ok. It was on the greasy side and the roll was falling apart. Lobster portions were ok.
They did charge us for the bread and olives that we thought were complimentary. I think €10! We hardly had any.

Good food, the octopus with asparagus sauce and potatoes was really good and the wine was delicious. I suppose that the service from the hostess was good but as we ate and talked with our fork and knife laid down we got the question “are you finished?” several times. That was a little annoying unfortunately. But aside from that it was a good experience and a pleasant lunch experience!

This place was pretty good. Its a big improvement over the utter pig slop they serve in downtown Rome. The price hike is steep. The portions are small especially when it came to the appetizer. They are severely understaffed so make sure to order everything at once because the server won’t be back. Stay away from the international dishes, their attempt at the croq monsieur left us scratching our heads…

This place needs a-lot of work. But its better than most things around it. Prices should be lowered

Went to Baccano which was meant to be an engagement dinner for me and my partner. Thankfully, it was just a normal dinner evening instead as I was severely disappointed in the service. The carbonara and pulpo was good, generally food was good but I would not recommend this just based on the service you receive and the price point. The restaurant appears to want to serve a higher clientele but is lacking in terms of service and etiquette. We can in at 7:30 pm, it was not busy our waitress was an older lady that was nice until she started to get larger tables or what I assume is more worth it table for her with more money spent. We were forgotten. Took 30 minutes for us to order, she then proceeded to forget to put in our order. Came back 10 minutes later asking me to clarify our order again. From there it was just down hill. Wrong order placed on our table. No apologies and it was disgusting that they asked us if we touched the food to re-serve it for another table. From there we asked for another bottle of water (mind you, it’s not free which is fine) but our waitress took away our old bottle and then proceeded to walk around us several times without bringing water back. We then after another 10 minutes had to remind her again. From our appetizer, she took away our cutlery and never replaced it. Our mains came and then we were left with no cutlery until a better waiter noticed and brought it for us. Again food was good. But no one came to check in on us once despite tables next to us being checked in when they didn’t even have food yet. From there we tried our best to enjoy ourselves but waiters and waitress kept bumping into me when they rounded the restaurant, we had a reservation but somehow got the worst table in the house. I had on 5 different occasion which includes our own server run into my chair knocking me around and even almost falling themselves without any acknowledgment or apologies. You would think that it just my seat but nope my partner had the same experience less than me but still. Finally we were done, asked our waitress for the bill, she asked if we wanted dessert or coffee, we honestly just wanted to leave. 20 minutes later still no bill. She then came again asking us coffee dessert- we again said no bill please. Another 10 minutes no bill. Another waitress then proceeds to slam into our table dropping a bottle of oil and then runs away. She comes back later says sorry and ask us again if we needed anything. I told her we asked for the bill several times. She apologizes and goes away. We wait another 15 minutes and still no bill…I then see a hostess bring a bill for another table. Then she comes to us after 10 minutes. Felt like most of our evening was waiting for a bill to leave- I wanted to just go pay at the front but you can’t tell where. I was so upset and frustrated by the treatment we received and it almost seemed racial because there wasn’t any other tourist around us. For a seemingly high end restaurant, I had expectations with service at least but I would not be back. Went to so many restaurants during our stay and honestly this is the only bad experience we had.
