They have excellent and affordable wines on the list. Appetizers are excellent - Korean Fried Cauliflower  is our favorite. Nice selection of main dishes as well. Vegetarians will appreciate the gnocchi and risotto options.

The dining room is intimate and original artworks are from one of the owners. The window kitchen allows you to see the attention and care given to each dish by the chefs. 💚

My Grab driver gave dubious looks when he dropped me on the location but Im sooo glad I found this hidden gem in Cebu! The narrow staircase leading to this intimate restaurant adds to the magical feels and then you are transported to Narnia. CHAR. 😆

My wife and I have been dining here since the very beginning. When they first opened years ago, we found out about this hole in the wall restaurant through a post from social media. As an avid foodie, we immediately made plans and reserved for a table for 2 (we were still dating back then). From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by the staff and owner of the restaurant and showed us to our table. They gladly explained everything that was on their menu and even after the dish was served, they’ll explain and teach you how to properly eat it as well. Not only food but they have a wide range of wine selections to choose from as well. The owner being a wine lover/aficionado like myself will gladly recommend you a wine to pair with your meal. From bottles, to glasses, or a tasting menu, you name it. Tales and Feelings has been a very big part of our lives. We’ve been frequenting this place since then. We’ve celebrated valentine’s, birthdays, anniversaries, are very much a few of the times we’ve dined to this place. They’ve even been a big part of our wedding as well, since we chose them to cater to our cocktail reception. Up until now their food and especially their customer service has been exceptional and consistent. One thing that’s great about them is that they occasionaly add new dishes to their menu so that there would be more varieties to choose from. They never stop exploring different flavors. Everytime they have a tasting or special dinner, we take our time to attend and join because everytime we go, there’s always something interesting and magical. They never stop surprising you with what flavors they can curate.

My partner and I went here on our short stay in Cebu. The atmosphere, food and service 10/10. The decor is different to anything you will find in Philippines and so reasonably priced for the quality of food. Thankyou Glen for taking such good care of the young Australian couple!

Overall great experience!  Only comment is that the gnocchi had an odd combination of flavors that didn’t match up to the rest of what we ordered.  Service was excellent, drinks were tasty! I might recommend that they space out the dishes just a bit longer so we have time to eat and drink

I always find myself longing for Pig and Palm when I return to my home in Cebu. And there’s a good reason why:

1. Atmosphere is always great, the staff and service are impeccable, caring, and attentive.
2. Food will always be prepared with quality ingredients, and with absolute passion by the kitchen staff.

- The roasted Mentaiko, deep fried layers of potato, and balsamic caviar, was delicious. The texture of the potatoes had a crisp outer shell, and intensely soft and creamy on the inside. There was a subtle taste of mentaiko, which paired well with the richness of the potato, and was cut down by the slight acidity of the balsamic.

- Palawan Pulpo with potato foam had no faults either! The octopus pieces were soft and tender, whilst boasting a smoky grilled aroma. The slight dusting of hot paprika/togarash (?) added a nice tanginess that combined nicely with the miso-rich creamy potato foam. The crackling puffs were a nice touch for an additional texture.

- My family and I can never have too much of the Linguine Nero here. Pasta and seafood were cooked to perfection, however, this time around, there was too much pesto which overwhelmed the flavours of the seafood essence and the tomato sauce. I’m aware it’s personal preference but it did bother me by a tiniest smidge.

- Cauliflower Risotto is an underrated dish. The risotto grains were nicely cooked. The whole dish was rich and creamy which was offset by a zing from the some cheese, which was surprising! Mushrooms had a nice touch of umami, and the cauliflower gave the dish extra texture. I am a big fan of cauliflower, however, the shavings does seem a bit lacklustre. Overall this dish is still a high 4.2/5

Despite the fact that I rarely see Jason Atherton visiting, he’s definitely chosen the right head chef which resulted in amazing staff; both front and back of house. Lovely time here, always.
