Skärers Krog & Café is a nice café and restaurant. It’s open early for breakfast, has great sandwiches, bakery products, and good coffee. In the evening, the restaurant serves excellent sea food and other options. The wine selection is pretty good. During the summer season we dined in the restaurant upstairs several times and it was very nice experience both in terms of the atmosphere and the food. They also serve dinner downstairs but the interior is not as nice as upstairs. The breakfast is excellent as well. The staff is very friendly and professional. For dinner, we recommend making reservations as this is a popular venue during high season.

The meals are excellent, but you wont get satisfied with the quantity, so you have to order some extras like pommes frits and sallads. Anyway the taste and atmosphere are great!

Great place for lunch if visiting this cute seaside town in western Sweden. Famous for the summer activity and all the visiting boats. Good Swedish food and plenty of seating to watch the world go by. Try the Herring if on special. Very tasty.

During nice weather this is an excellent place to have a breakfast.
As I’m fond of shrimp sandwiches this is a perfect breakfast combination for me.
They have a variety of different sandwiches and the dishes.

We had a great evening with a group of three. All the dishes have a unique taste and they were all beautifully presented. The cold and hot food were equally delicious and the timing in between dishes was impeccable. We enjoyed the wine and cocktail selection, next time we will try their sakes as they have a wide variety of brands and cocktails. We were sited outside this time, with summer coming and the weather getting warmer it was a great view and nice atmosphere. All dishes displayed delicate flavours and attention to detail. This time we didn’t try any ramen but I strongly recommend them as they are worth to experience. The deserts were a very nice way to finish the evening. Overall I would come back here time after time, we had a great service and we were all happy in the end :)

It is one of the best sushi places to eat with amazing staff and an elegant atmosphere. This place is completely worth it but be prepared as the drinks are expensive. A single draft beer is $19, which is nearly in cocktail territory (say $25). However, for this price, you will have beautifully prepared dishes and flavors that are hard to find anywhere.

We stopped for lunch and had the Nigiri, some rolls, and a round of beers. Everything was excellent.

This is the perfect spot to wine and wine or to celebrate something big or to take a client. Expect to pay 200+ pp for a full meal with drinks. You won't be disappointed.

Just finished dining and couldn’t fault the food; simply delicious. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the variety on offer was wide without being overwhelming. A special mention is worth giving to our waitperson for the evening Jenny who was so personable and friendly, it was her hospitality and warm nature that truly brought our experience to a perfect Sunday evening. Showed up nice and early for happy hour, the staff were super attentive (us being the only customers at the time) and we ordered almost everything off the happy hour menu. Portions were tiny, the tacos fit in your palm like a toy car but that’s as expected for the establishment. Food quality not compromised, every dish was as delightful as the last. We enjoyed the nori crisps and karaage - the nori mayo sauce that went with the karaage was our favourite. If you like pineapple, you’ll like the wakanai cocktail.

Gorgeous decor, nice ambience.
Kingfish double crunch was good. Wagyu beef striploin was tender. Lamb chops were perfect.
Dragon Egg is a must have dessert. Impeccable presentation and great mix of chocolate, caramel, rhubarb and ice cream.
Miss Wednesday is an incredibly sweet cocktail. Hummingbird was nice.

the Sydney Fish Market was a fascinating and vibrant experience, though perhaps not for the faint of heart! It's a bustling, sensory overload of sights, sounds, and smells – the salty tang of the sea mingling with the aroma of fresh seafood and the chatter of vendors and customers.

For a seafood lover like myself, it was heaven. The sheer variety of fish, crustaceans, and mollusks on display was astonishing. From glistening prawns and plump oysters to enormous crabs and exotic fish I'd never seen before, it was a feast for the eyes.

I enjoyed wandering through the market, watching the fishmongers expertly fillet and prepare the seafood, and soaking up the energetic atmosphere. We bought some freshly cooked prawns and calamari to enjoy by the harbor, and they were absolutely delicious.

Beyond the fresh seafood, there are also a number of shops and restaurants selling cooked seafood, sushi, and other takeaway options. It’s a great place to grab a casual lunch or dinner with a view of the working harbor.

A few things to be aware of: it can get very crowded, especially on weekends, so be prepared for some jostling. Also, the market is a working environment, so it can be a bit messy and the smell can be quite strong. Wear closed-toe shoes and be mindful of where you step.

Don’t let the fact the fish market is being re-built next door to the current site don’t let that put you off going there. There’s always an eye-popping array of beautiful fresh seafood, at really reasonable prices.

Light rail L1 will get you there in 15 mins from Central.

Unless you’re after a quick snack I’d say it is best to buy and cook it at home - the restaurants there can be crowded and if you’re eating outside, beware the seagulls because they work in teams to distract people and steal their food.
