We stayed at Il Sereno for 3 nights in July and had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel service is truly 5-star, with incredibly attentive and friendly staff. Even though the hotel was fully booked during our stay, it still felt personal, intimate and private. Many times, you hardly noticed any other guests. The pool and spa  were great! The staff were outstanding  and helped with all transportation, boating, and dinner arrangements. With respect to the restaurant, we had seen mixed reviews but decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant for one of our nights in Torno.  We were so happy we did!  The food was fantastic quality, service was top, and it really was a great experience overall. Thank you for such a great stay. We hope to return some time in the future.

We had an incredible anniversary meal at the restaurant. Ruben, Genaro & the rest of the team made us very welcome in their picturesque dining room. The food was exceptional - very much a first class culinary experience. Would thoroughly recommend - 5 stars!

Absolutely the best hotel in ALL of Europe.

You could not pay for a better view. The pool is heated and offers amazing views. You can jump off the dock into the lake and I just am having a blast. I’m writing this review like 4 hours into my stay here… It’s that amazing. Well worth the price and it’s KIDS friendly! 10/10 stars.

The staff is AMAZING. This isn’t like a regular hotel where you check in. The experience was so different from anything I’ve experienced and I’ve been to quite a few nice hotels. Well done.

The staff was mostly delightful. The location was quaint but hard to find. The rooms are small for the price and the idea of a suite is not what most are used to. A suite usually refers to a separate seating room. I would say our room was more of a large regular room.
We visited the mandarin oriental and for the money you may prefer this.

Although the place is clearly very luxurious, i experienced the staff at the entrance as very unprofessional. Came three days in a row to meet up with our friends staying at the hotel and was asked the same security questions by the same persons every time. The first time our friends came to greet us at the entrance - and this should have been a heads up that we actually knew the guest!  But the following days we were asked the same questions and we were even escorted to the restaurant, as they probably did not trust us- making us feel like criminals. This is when the excessive and useless safety checks turn into a terrible customer experience. Will never recommend or visit this venue again.

We have already stayed at the Chedi Andermatt several times. And there are good reasons for this. The costs are not low, so the standards are not low either. I have stayed in many very nice hotels, the difference is almost exclusively made by the service. Our stay at the Chedi was exceptional from reception to departure and met all our expectations. We were greeted with a room upgrade, which made us very happy. We then booked a massage, which also left nothing to be desired. We would like to emphasize the discreet and very competent Marietta, her massage was excellent! The real highlight followed in the evening: a dinner at The Japanese, where even my spoiled palate has never eaten better, the service was attentive and Julia's wine advice is second to none. A mixture of pure expertise combined with a very likeable personality. Although we had only booked a short stay this time, we were able to experience a very relaxing time-out that was worth every franc. The presence of Mr. Arnold is striking, he ensures discreetly and with an overview that the quality is guaranteed. A big compliment to you, Mr. Arnold, you are doing an excellent job! We will be back soon, promised!

Very calm place, gorgeous interior. The dinner we had  in "the restaurant " was amazing. The service in every way was top notch! highly recommend this hotel, if you want a relaxing holiday

I had a very nice weekend with my wife at this Hotel.
I have to congratulate to the team for the quality of service provided. All our requests were satisfied, personnel is kind, welcoming, and well prepared. They have one of the best customer care I have ever experienced.
The room was clean, very comfortable also for the technology available ( you can manage everything comfortably seated wherever you want with the Ipad provided including making reservations ). The spa is modern and very well maintained . I recommend a dinner at the Japanese Restaurant, which is delicious and outstanding.
A special thanks to all the staff for making our stay so special, and for all the effort they put in accomodating our requests.
I look forward to come back again. This hotel is my number 1 choice in Andermatt.
