So f good - don’t step foot in Beso Beach and come here instead. It’s 5 mins away by car and such a good vibe. The fideuá is one of the best you’ll ever have. Plus; everyone here is so friendly!

Even though we ought to know better, we allowed ourselves to be enticed into this restaurant by an enthusiastic promoter.

The food was dull and uninspiring. The service was beyond horrible! It completely lacked lustre and apart from the view, it was an extremely disappointing experience.

Our paella arrived an hour and a half AFTER the rest of the food. Mains arrived before starters. Shrimps were not fresh, and were impossible to peal.

We won't be so easily led another time. It wasn't cheap either…

I’ve added photos of the food we left behind becuase of how horrible it was.

I have to say, there was one waiter (Carlos) there that noticed our disappointment and did his best to compensate us with a few complimentary shot, which was very kind of him.

Food was incredible - best paellas we have had on our trip so far. We had the special paella and the seafood paella, which were both equally delicious. The seaside view was lovely, and the restaurant was conveniently right next to the beach which was nice. The waiters were kind and helpful. Overall, a very nice place.

Tanga beach is a must in formentera.
The beach is great with a lot of space and less people compared to ses illetes. If you want a beach ombrella make sure you arrive early enough.
The Tanga restaurant is great. We had Formentera octopus (recommended) and fish paella. Service is fast and waiters are super available and kind. The terrace is ventilated with fan so it is not too warm.
We really enjoyed the day here and this is one of the best place for a relaxing day in Formentera.

Excellent beach restaurant with a large choice of fresh fish. Such a hidden gem: we just wanted a light lunch before going to the beach so ordered salads, grilled sole, octopus and prawns. Delicious! I'll come back for the paellas.

A beautiful experience on a nice terrace table and creative Mediterranean food from sea as well as land quality ingredients, few plates choices, but very thoughtful.

We tried huevos with parmesan sauce and jamón y truffle oil, sublime, then Casarecce de pesto de pistacho con pomodorini y gambas and then Pluma Ibérica de Bellota con boniato cooked "asado" super tasty only suggestion would be to add a bit more side (more boniato as was only two small slices)

Then we had Pavlova with Chantilly,  strawberries and Mango Ice-cream TOP!
So delicate and fresh and Mousse de Crema Catalana with a nice twist of melted chocolate at the bottom!

All paired with a nice simple Spanish eat Chardonnay. touche '

We decided to come after reading reviews on lonely planet. They have amazing seafood options, but I decided to stick to the traditional vegetarian spanish omelette. The gnocchi  del mar was fresh and delicious. Clean bathrooms, great service, peaceful location.. did I say they have alternative milk for your coffee? Can’t go wrong!
