Amazing dining experience. We had an amazing evening. Most of the food are locally sourcing, the flavour is beautiful balanced. The tempo is also great.

In terms of the food, the monkfish with the wine is so delicious, langoustines are very juicy and bouncy. They have a wide range of drinks for non alcohol drinkers - the home made juice is such a fresh. Perfect dinner! Highly recommend.

COVID causes some restrictions, so need to eat as well as sample the wines. Still an excellent option for exquisite food and wine.

One of the best experiences I have had in Norway. Great and interesting food, matched with nice wine. We had the 5 course dinner, and a couple of the dishes was among the best I have tasted ever. The staff is very welcoming and helpful.

I also have to say thanks for showing a great flexibility on an expired gift card. Our gift card had expired because of the down time during corona lockdowns and their new renovation, and I had forgotten to follow up when they opened up on the new location. A lot of businesses would have just taken the money and said sorry, but they offered us to use the card because of the confusion.

When we arrived, we told to the waiter that we have gifts cards but we didn't know about how works that. He offered us a table and 30 minutes later he came for to order drinks. We never ordered any dish, simply he brought the first dish. We had to told him about the vegetarian diet because never explained us about what type of dishes we were to dinner. The time between dishes was too long. The amount was pretty poor and poor taste. We paid with the gift cards but the waiter said that we have to pay more but we never ordered anything more and he only brought the dishes included in the gift card menu. We arrived at 20h and we finished at 23h. 1 hour per each dish. Awful 😖

This was not just the best meal we had in Trondheim, nor was it just the best meal we had in Norway, this experience reminded us of the joy an amazing meal can bring. Food prepared with such care and creativity that you don't know when again in your life you will be fortunate enough to taste it.

We've eaten at so many places from food stalls to Michelin restaurants and I can't remember the last time I felt so satisfied and surprised by a dish. Everything we ordered was so fresh, with each element of the dish working so well together. The beef required no knife and melted in your mouth. The herring (after eating so much herring in Norway) was somehow so delicious and unique in its flavor. The lamb dumplings in such a delicious broth. After the meal we enjoyed the fresh baked desserts. The basque cheesecake was perfect without being overly sweet. It was perfect.

When the meal was finished the joy turned to a bittersweet melancholy as we knew the only way to eat this food again would be to return to Trondheim. It is my wish to eat those dishes again soon. What a wonderful collection of people who create the food and warm atmosphere of this restaurant.

To the ones who appreciate specialty coffee, excellent food and a bit of literature & architecture: this place is for you.

We have tried a lot of high quality coffee shops in Norway and I would say that this is the best one yet.

Super friendly service, great atmosphere, excellent coffee & the food is delicious.

We stayed a little longer in Trondheim than planned, so we could come back the next morning before continuing our travels.
